Did the RL meeting thread perk your ego?

It perked my ego more than i like to admit. Those things are what shows your own level of insecurity and need for validation from others to yourself...and mine isn't low. Still i didn't obsess about it.

I wasn't mentioned, which makes me sorta sad. I think I'll use GAIM to get the IRC, and I still have AIM + Yahoo!

Being mentioned and not being mentioned didn't bother me too much. As such, I can understand what it feels like to be left out, which is why I left my response to the whole thread relatively ambiguous. ^^;

Nevertheless, I knew who would mention me, though I admit there were some surprises.

I guess that's what happens once you've been around the block for a while.

I agree completely with Kimiko about feeling wanted though.
