Even though i'd be tempted, i'd be very cautious and thinking. For 2 reasons

1) Forever TFment/damnation I guess you could say. I'm sure that'd be a head rattler right there. I mean, forever TFment?

2) What about those who dont know the OMG storyline? ^^;; I dont know what kinda demons these are.

1: I would say to choose your demon form wisely, then. XD

2: The demons aren't that different from the gods/goddesses, which are both pretty much like how humans live. They have societies, jobs, and their own unique way of making a living. Spirits of the world are also a part of both of their places, it seems. Essentially, most demons don't seem to care for the human world; not in such a way as wanting to destroy but rather having little interest in it as a whole. Spirits seem to have the most control over the world other than Yggdrasil, and I've only seen the demons (though mostly Mara) have anything to do with the world because of the goddesses themselves. For Vespar (a demon), he tried to stop time so the human world would be in limbo because of reasons involving Belldandy, not a hate of humans or anything. It mainly seems like the demons spite the gods/goddesses, either for control of Yggdrasil and/or for some other reason(s). And they also seem to have more social and human-world-entering freedoms whereas there are behavioral restrictions and limitations to activities in the human world for gods/goddesses. And the "Almighty" blows chocolate chunks compared to Hild. He's kind of like the Christian God except he's lazy and mostly leaves things to be done by his "children." Makes me think he problem only has the power that he does because of Yggdrasil, otherwise he would be taking care of stuff easily. Since he doesn't seem quite like an Odin figure. More like a Christian God one. So Hild FTW! And all that copycat stuff I do. XD

The deal is EXACTLY this, in whatever language you need to hear it in.

Hild transforms you into whatever TG / TF you want. Whether it be bishi, bishoujo, sexy ojousama or even an old man if that is your thing, WHATEVER. However, for the rest of eternity, you work for the side of the demons and are a demon yourself. Interpret that how you like, no special requirements beyond that you are a demon working with demons for the demon cause. If you want to be a bad luck demon, you are. If you want to be a demon of sexy temptation, you are.

Those are the requirements, it is dead simple.

Which is why I started with the "role" comment. You can be any specificy type of demon you like, as long as you are a demon for eternity. No outs. Not even Kami-sama can save you. For all time, for all existence, good or bad, demon or demoness you will be.

I voted "leaning toward no", because while I would definitely not wish to be a demon, there would be the pull of getting the body I want and for eternity to boot. But I would want to help people, and becoming a demon isn't conducive to that.

In order to make certain I wouldn't later weaken, I would find Belldandy and tell her what Hild was doing. Also, that way I would know for certain that the gods/goddesses were warned.

I fail to see the moral dilema in this...

Is that to say you see no moral aspect to being a demon, or just a demon in the AMG universe?

Well, the term 'demon' is pretty laden with connotations in the English language, and it really depends what sort of demon you mean. I'm not as familiar with the AMS universe, having only watched the first five OAV, but the way you describe the demons there...

No dilema.

Being a demon under the Christian mythos, on the other hand: major dilema.

Yeah, a certain demon (Welsper) was punished when he did something to possibly cause destruction of the world, so the demons in AMG aren't very mean at all. They're more annoying than baby eating evil.
