Even with the number of times I give blood, I can't stand getting poked by the needle the first time, so I have to look away.

But otherwise, when I'm giving blood, I try to think of tomato juice. ^^;

It is a curious reaction that you have, May. At least to me. It has been nearly a decade since I've had blood taken, but even then it "bored" me. The only thing that I didn't like was that I had the idea that it would set things off track in my body, like losing antibodies and stuff. So I decided that I wouldn't lose blood in such a way again. Just naturally. It's the way to go, you must agree, yes? :3

I don't know, I meean, when I see blood, I get all....antsy, and can't stand still.

I dunno about you, but from my own experience, getting blood drawn from your arm feels nothing liek what people make it out to feel like in vampire novels...

If anything you start to feel faint if you don't have enough liquids in you, but that's it.

Yeah, I never felt a sucking sensation either. Blood just burbled up into the container. I felt a momentary sting from the needle when it entered, but it didn't linger much. Other than that I believe I felt a slight pulse in my arm from my heart because of the circulation being cut by that rubberband thingy.

It could be her discomfort and fear at the knowledge of having her blood sucked out that created the sensation, Helel and Nikkou. The brain is easy to trick into creating sensations like that. Also from what i can tell May doesn't just find blood icky but actually has hemophobia and then a simple advice like looking away will not work. You probably wouldn't tell a claustrophobic person to just think about something else when forced into a small room.

I haven't told her to look away, though. I know it must be some kind of phobia; I was just sharing my own experience since May and I react opposingly to blood. Well, actually, I don't love and cherish blood in some manic way... ^_^; It just doesn't bother me in the slightest. I've been made stupid, you could say.

But I know how it is with imagining things. I'm a paranoid schizophrenic, so my paranoia makes me imagine all sorts of things, every day. So long as there are people that I am mentally aware of then I'll likely be imagining this and that about them, usually about an imagined perception of me that's negative in some form or another. -_-
