I chose other; not only because of many types of music that were missing, but because I enjoy a plethora of kinds. For example, some of the music on my current music list are:

Dimmu Borgir - Progenies of the great apocalypse: black metal
X-Japan - Forever love: Japanese pop
Junior Senior - Move your feet: hip-hop (I'm guessing)
Paula Abdul - Straight up: pop (I'm also guessing)
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to heaven: classic rock/metal
Pagan's mind - Supremacy, our kind: progressive power metal
Beethoven - Moonlight sonata: "classical" (I'll never tire of this song)
Boston - Something about you: arena rock (another guess)
Seal Online - one of the town songs: video game music stuffs
Type O-negative - Love you to death: alternative
Misfits - American psycho: punk
Grateful dead - Touch of grey: reggae

And I have a bunch more, but I can't even really guess exactly what kind of music they are (except, maybe, if they're the kind I already have on the list). There are a few on the list I made that I was making guesses on, though I'm hoping they are good guesses.

My tastes are on the eclectic side. I like some light rock, a bit of alternative, Oldies/classic rock. J-rock/J-pop, Celtic, etc. Thus, I can't pick just one, especially as some of my choices aren't there.

I like to listen to almost anything, (especially Dance/Electronica) but I really don't like Country, and Pop music.

I'm afraid eclectic describes my taste as well. You might want to alter the poll so it at least has an option for people who like many types of music. Personally I'd find it difficult to choose a single kind...I have several thousand songs on my computer alone. It would perhaps be easier to say what I don't listen to...Which is religious music and country.

I'll listen to anything, but, my tastes seem to lean toward the music itself, not the lyrics that you can barely understand in the first place.

Video game musics(FF3/6 ftw, I guess...alot of the RPG music really shows the skills of a composer), Classical(Mozart and Beethoven, though, I never take the time to memorize the names of each symphony and such)

Not much love for the Rap/Hip-Hop. I like early 90's stuff that's more fun than trying to be hardcore like it is nowdays. I also dig Jazz, Classical, Techno, Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Psyche Rock, Surf Rock, Comedy Music and occasionally a country song.
