An idea looking for a writer!

Postby Skyblue » Sun Jun 18, 2006 1:48 am

As a few of you know I am not a good writer though I do occasionally get insane story ideas. I would like to present one such idea right now that just won't leave my head! Any writers willing to use it please feel free to do so!

The idea is a Batman fanfic. The premise is that Alfred seeing that he is getting rather old knows his time is nearly up. So using a few resources he had acquired before his time as a butler with the Wayne family he is able to contact a "greater power" a "divine being" who grants deserving people a single selfless wish and only selfless wishes. Seeing Bruce as the son he never had all he wishes is for Bruce aka batman is to be taken care off when he is gone and be happy (perhaps even settle down). So shortly after Alfred's departing, a grieving Bruce finds at his door 3 maids.......who insist they have been hired to take care of duties at the manor and serve "Master Wayne" at the request of the late Alfred. At first he is rather put off and attempts to dismiss them but after some rather persuasive arguments by the 3 girls he decides to take them on a short "trial" employment, never really intending to keep them around more than a couple of days. Afterall they might discover his secrets. The next morning he is shocked to find how amazingly efficient and skilled the 3 girls are. The manor gleams in its cleanliness, breakfast is fresh ready and served to him in his bed, and the girls seem to be able to predict his every need including sorting and handling his Wayne industries paperwork and schedule. Still he is rather wary until he later finds them in the batcave.....one cleaning the cave, another tuning up the batmobile, and a third analyzing a chemical sample he had intended to do himself. All 3 slowly show they're specialties and sheer competence at being his support staff that even he cannot believe it.

Unknown to Batman, several years ago, 3 very very unhappy teenage boys on the verge of taking their own lives was approached by a beautiful angelic being promising them happiness and a truly great man worthy of devoting their life to.....

....and thats about it for the idea. Believe it or not I had this dream happen last night @_@ and thats where I got it.

Now, if it weren't a batman fanfic, I'd be interested...

Well you could always create a generic hero. With a butler. I like the premise mainly. Batman just happened because it was part of my dream.

It's interesting, but I probably wouldn't be the right person to write it.
