Since I started playing Metroid Prime 2 again, I'm going to have to with Samus. She's much more acrobatic than the Chief and has cooler guns.

Samus Aran. All her weapons are built into her suit, and her weapons are also at a higher power level. Charge Shot, Missiles, Super Missiles, are all equal to or GREATER THAN Master Chief's Rocket Launcher...

Of course, I could circle strafe on Halo 2 faster than Samus can ever turn...

Samus doesn't fight just pirates...she fights entire ARMIES of pirates, including the Mother Brain, who is at least as strong as a tank.

Also, Master Chief has help. Samus fights Solo. And, he only fights Tanks by getting in one himself.

Plus, again, Samus has weapons that are all built in. In a one-on-one fight, it would be hard to balance Master Chief. He would probably have weapons strewn about the arena, at best.

They both depend on the skills of the person controlling them, but, I have to say, Samus's arsenal is alot better than the MC's...
