Windows.

Cause it's the cool thing to do.

That's purely sarcasm, but I really don't care either way. I just use what I need.

Windows ME owns the n00bs.

Which, in effect, is a problem in itself.
I mean, even n00bs will own the n00bs who use WME.

Win2k >XP

XP is just plain...ugh. My nice little 2k computer crashes maybe once every month of use, wheras my XP crashes about once every week or two. So that's what I use.

I've had XP since October, because that's what the computer I got then came with, and it's never crashed on me once. Was yours an earlier version? Perhaps it simply wasn't de-bugged yet.

Eh. I always end up with Windows. Though that's probably a good thing since my mind no longer cooperates when it comes to learning new things.

Out of all of the time that I've used XP, though, I've never had it crash. Sometimes the things I pick up on the Internet make the taskbar act wonky... But otherwise no problems since Norton can clean that up. Though that's probably because I don't really push its capabilities, since I just browse, download images and watch some flash/swf movie things. Since I got this thing in January, I haven't even defragmented it and everything seems fine. Though I may defragment just to see if I am missing a difference in performance. *Shrugs*

Thank you, Eirien.
Yes, the Pippin. As I am too young to know much about it, I was able to find one at a garage sale:P
After looking it up, and studying the thing itself, it seems that Apple wasted a large mount of resources on this, in an effort to get more profit...

Hm.. XP is what I personally use. I would recommend either Linux or Apple's OS for servers however. I have worked with all of them but Linux and find myself preferring the use of Windows simply because its the one everyone knows. My comp I have had for nearly 2 years now with xp and the only times it has crashed is when my siblings have picked up a virus on it or when I was screwing around with the registry. As a gamer I see no real choice other than xp at the moment, though boot camp is looking like a good choice if you use the apple machines.
