Pegasus Knight Florina wrote:"Never question the power of our magic, young one," Cassiella laughed, raising her hand and creating a small moon in the center of the palm. "Go ahead, touch it. It's as solid as the real thing."
When Dehuene had touched the small moon, she had wondered how material could be created from the immaterial. But she had decided to heed her sister and not question the power of magic. So, as she followed along with the rest of the party, she had remained silent and took in her environment, casting her thoughts this way and that whenever she had seen something new.
She had been awed by the castle when they had approached it, and had taken the guard into close consideration. While she had thought that the palace guard were pleasing to the eye, she had expected some form of attraction as her new faery-self. She hadn't been sure if it was normal or not, but she still favored females (such as the females that made up their group). The only difference that she had noticed, was that she felt that Cassiella was a sibling rather than a potential object of love or lust.
And when they had approached the Lunar Opal, she had silently wondered how something so powerful hadn't made the faery the dominant species on the planet. Particularly since she had suspected that all of the faery races had such items of power. But she had opted to remain silent, deciding that she would find out in due time. And now that she was immortal, she figured that she had plenty of time for waiting.
