to all of those in highschool I say don't expect college to be as grand as all your teachers and counselors make it out to be... I found it to be quite anticlimactic... but looking back on my first year I realized: college, even when not living up to the expectations is greatly better than highschool in the fact that you at least can act as an adult... no more being treated like a delinquent, no more hall passes, making mom call in sick for you, rigid schedules, etc... as long as you have a checking account, credit card, a car, and your social security number memorized, you are in control of your school life.

Outta high school and working to save money for college. It is the circle of education, you're either in, trying to get in, or contributing to the system.

Or...yaknow, you're not.

You could, but not the sort of pediatrics that one would want to do...

And college for me so that I can become "the man" that's mentioned in all those protests. You know, him, "the man," yeah, I wanna be him after I graduate. He gets a bad rap but he seems to living the good life.

Most of you would call it college though i prefer to use the european term, university. The primary difference is that there are no european countries that has as standardized education beyond high school as the US and as such universities only handle part of what an american college would, the part relating to purely academic studies such as philosophy or economics or physics and not things like teaching for example.

college, but you should fear my intellecual wrath! I can hold my own in most any subject, have taught myself languages, although I HATE math with a passion I've done advanced trigonometry and Calculus without a calculator, and my knowledge on all things historical, artistic, technical, medical, and so many other stupid categories of knowledge is staggering. I'm not a verafiable expert on very much but I know more than most people about everything =P

I apologize if this sounds self-promoting or self concious, cause it might very well be XD
