The Coffee House.

Neko's smile widens, showing sharp canines. The irony, is luckily lost on her. "I think you mean "Muy Bien!""

"That too." Chiko adds, "Soo....this place seems pretty nice. You like working here?"

[Chibi MitchellTF]

Neko nods with great vigor. "Uhhuh. I get to eat, and sleep, and eat, and sleep, and learn about stuff, and eat, and then I train in fighting, then I sleep a bit, and they even give me fish!"

Bob leans under the counter, pulls out a bucket of fish, and tosses it in the air to Neko. She leaps up, catches it in her mouth, and downs it in one gulp.

She smiles with her fangs over her lips. "Aree-ree-ree-ree." Her imitation of a dolphin sound, however, leaves much to be desired.

[Teddy]

Gennosuke half grinned at Neko's dolphin imitation. "Needs a little more practice Neko... Ahhh, crap. Coffee's a little too cold." Gennosuke paused for a moment, then his right index finger burst into flames, which he then used to stir his coffee. He waved it around, the flame not going out for a few seconds. "Much better."

Neko stares at the flaming finger. "Pretty...must...touch..." She slaps herself. "No Neko, that is moths...cats do not touch fire, only shinies...but flames are shiny..."

Bob throws her a ball of yarn, she catches it, and it shakes her out of her thoughts. She turns to him, and gives him a thumbs up in thanks.

Chiko moves his head in the direction of the odd odd woman and man with flaming finger and raises an eyebrow, still sipping his coffee.

"This city has certainly's got some interesting people..." He muttered between sips.

Neko gnaws on the ball of yarn. "Weird is in the eye of the observer. In this city 'weird' people are pretty much the majority. So, in that case, they're not actually the weird ones. It's the NORMAL people who are actually weird!"

[SweetSophia]

"Well, I never said weird per se...not that I'm the most normal person in the galaxy anyway...didn't mean to offend if I did. Terribly sorry."

Michiko apologized profusely, standing up, bowing and for some odd reason sparkling. Also, unfortunately, Chiko knocks over the hot coffee onto the floor and onto his own feet.

Neko smiles. "Nah, I'm not really offended, I just had to read a lot of books on rhetoric right after I was 'born', and I've read Machivelli so many times I recite it in my sleep...OH LOOK OUT!"

The coffe spills on Michiko's feet, and Neko is immediately behind it, holding the empty cup about an inch off the ground, and wiping at the floor with a towel from her waist.

"OhI'msorryI'llgetthatforyou." She sucks on the end of the towel. "Hey! This IS good!"

Chicko's eye twitches as much as a closed shut eye can as he attempts to stand still with the scalding coffee leaking into his shoes.

"N-no need TO apologize. These THIngs happen." Michiko seethes through his teeth as he stands.

Neko tries to say something, but she's too busy hopping backwards, one hand dabbing the floor + his shoes, one hand holding the coffee, and her mouth busy sucking on the end of the towel.

[Teddy]

"I agree with you sir... This city is filled with weird people." He pauses for a moment and slaps his forehead. "Twice! Twice! Anyway, I'm Gennosuke, newly arrived wonder-kid. Or something of that sort... I'm really here to just get away from my old town." He leaned his chair back, feet propped on the table, sipping on his coffee.

"Nice to meet you Gennosuke. I'm Michiko. I got sent out here to take care of my family's dojo. We're actually from around these parts, I think." Chiko explained, making conversation.

Neko finishes cleaning up most of the cafe con leche, and stands up. "I'm Neko, and I'm a bio-engineered super-weapon trying to learn about the world I live in, at the tender age of Twee."

[Teddy]

Gennosuke chuckled a bit. "Neko," he muttered, while pointing at Neko. "Michicko," Pointing at Michiko. "And Genno." Pointing at himself. "It's like the three stooges. Anyway, I SHOULD be taking care of pops' dojo, but he's waaaaay to harsh on me. Neko... You're only three years old? That would explain some things, but raises so many other questions." He finished his coffee and quickly ordered another one. "Just as black as the first one was if you please."
