The Tavern

[SweetSophia]

Teras somewhat wearily enters the establishment, looking curiously at the door. He saunters up to the bar counter and leans his arms on it, taking a seat and stopping to admire the more attractive barflies.

[Empusa Sesshi]

The keep nods and sends one of the buxom barwenches into the back to fetch the requested sandwich, he turns to the newcomer with a polite nod. "Evenin, what can I getcha?"

[Musashi]

Ria awaits her beloved sandwich, taking the time to pull a book from her backpack and flip through it.

[SweetSophia]

"You wouldn't happen to server salad in this fine establishment...Drunken Pig was it?"
He asks, leaning an arm on the bar in a casual manner.

[Empusa Sesshi]

In a moment or three the girl returns baring Ria's sandwich, she giggles and sets it on the table for her. "There ya go sweetie." ^^

He shrugs to Teras. "What kind of salad?"

[Musashi]

"Wow, thanks!" And Ria dug in, practically inhaling it. Inhaling it so much so that she barely made a mess. "Um, do you have roast beef too?"

[SweetSophia]

"Just a simple green salad's all I ask. Maybe some ale to wash it down." The boy says gazing off occasionally at the servers, "By the way, you happen tpknow anything about any forests around here? I was looking for somewhere to put my skills to good use."

[Stellar]

Marisa strolled through the tavern glancing over the surroundings and took a seat at the bar. It had been a day since she left home and was quite unsure of herself or what she should do now that she was on her own.

[Empusa Sesshi]

The bar girl who brought Ria the sandwich looks...a bit grossed out watching the girl devour the food. "Umm...yes we do miss..." But she does a good job of forcing a smile to look polite!

The dwarven barman nods to Teras, waving down another scantily clad lass, and giving her his order. He sets a foaming mug down in front of the boy. "Dunno bout any forests, asks the old one by the fire."

He then looks to Marisa. "Evenin lass, what can I getcha?"

[SweetSophia]

Teras takes a hearty swig from the mug, and setting down on the table, sets his payment in coins onto the bar. Taking the cue from the barkeep as his food is being prepared, he walks over to the elderly man and questions him.

"Ah, excuse me good sir. I heard from the barkeep that you may know of a forest or woodland area where I could set up operations."

[Stellar]

Marisa looks up quickly, "Ah~ ..Uh, I-I'm not sure," she stuttered looking back down to open one of her pouches. "Wh-whatever you suggest will do," with that she laid a few coppers and a silver on the bar looking back to the dwarf with a half smile. "C.. Could you tell me though, do many adventurers .. pass through here? ..I ah... Am pretty new at this," she fumbled out as her cheeks turned rose. It seemed her confidence had depleted quickly after leaving her family, but she still had enough perseverance to hopefully gain it back and continue her journey.

[Empusa Sesshi]

The older fellow glances up from his mug of hot tea. "Eh? Oh sure sure, I know lot's of things...been livin round these parts a loooooong time. Hmm...forest type eh? Welp...there's that business over in the Forest of Teeth..."

The dwarf blinks a bit at the girls obvious nervousness and smiles kindly. "Now now lass, I suggest ya take a deep breath hmm? Just relax for a spell. I'll getcha some hot stew and fresh bread." He grabs one of the girls, sending her into the kitchen. "As for the other thing...yup, all the time."

[Goose]

Bruce shakes his head, and tries to correct himself.... or rather, the young man who misunderstood him.

"Ah, no no. It is being... being..."

He seems lost for words.

"...Of the place that is to which I am missing... Haste is not a factor. I will do the finding of the place that is to which I am missing... um... good? Yes."

Bruce nods, and faintly smiles.

[Duck]

Uh.... lets try the church.

C'mon this way. pay our tabs boyo.

[Stellar]

"Ah, thank you," Marisa smiles and waits paitently for her meal looking around at other people in the tavern picking up on a few nearby conversations.
