The Underhill Mines

[Raleigh]

"You continue trying to take down the archers, I will deal with the direct fighters. I have armor on so I should be a little safer." She stands in the path of the charging goblins and begins to slice at the leader of the group.

[Empusa Sesshi]

The first goblin charging forward goes down with one slash from your blade, however the others begin to swing and stab visciously, more then a few getting through the armor to knick at your flesh.

One of the archers goes down from the lightning, but more bolts rain down the hall, one catching Lyon in the shoulder...

[Raleigh]

"Lyon I hate to say this, but we might want to turn back for the moment." Slashes at the second goblin in the line while trying to ignore the little nicks she is recieving. "I am afraid they were a bit more ready for us than I recall goblins usually being capable of."

[Shadowmaster]

"I think that may be a good idea." Lyon said. "My shoulder hurts..."

[Empusa Sesshi]

The second goblin goes down easily, but they keep swaming at the pair from ahead. Lyon's body is beginning to feel numb, and it's getting hard for him to keep his eyes open.

[Shadowmaster]

Lyon keeps trying to attack the goblins, though he is in great pain. "We need to get out of here." he said.

[Raleigh]

"Righto." Keeps slashing down any nearby goblin while backing out, hopefully Lyon can keep awake long enough to make it to the entrance at least. "I think there may have been either poison or sleep powder on those arrows there Lyon. Try to keep focused on getting out of here."

[Empusa Sesshi]

As you back toward the entrance, you hear the sounds of more goblins...another large batch came from the tunnel behind you, you're officially stuck. The goblins are sure to overwhelm you any moment now.

[Raleigh]

"I hate to say it, but I think we are really messed up here. Perhaps a tactical surrender before they carve us up is in order?"

[Shadowmaster]

"Anything to get out of here." Lyon said, on the verge of passing out.

[Empusa Sesshi]

The goblins either don't speak human...or aren't interested in what you're saying. More bolts hit home, a few finding their way through Ebony's armor. Despite Lyon's best efforts...he finds himself sagging to the ground, everything growing dimmer...

[Shadowmaster]

"I...can't..." with that, Lyon collapses onto the ground. Either unconsious, or too exhausted to speak.

[Raleigh]

"Hm.. well this isn't good. No way for me to escape and get him out too." Puts down her sword and holds up her hands, hoping the goblins will understand that.

[Empusa Sesshi]

The goblins apparently DO understand, though they're hardly gentle as they grab Ebony's wrists roughly. Lyon however is completely unconcious soon, so they merely take his staff and drag him through the halls. Drug passed one room you see a human bound in a magic diagram...he seems to be turning a bit greener as the goblin magi chants over him, but you're rushed passed swiftly before you can see much more. You're both unarmed and your armor is removed as you're tossed roughly into a sturdy wooden cage. The door is shut and locked and the goblin stalks away.

The room you're in houses about a dozen of these cages. Many occupied by a couple dozen or more people. Yours must be a fresh one as it only has one other occupant, a slender man with short brown hair, a bit unkempt. A few days of stubble on his rather handsome jaw, he wears a red bandana to keep his hair outta his eyes. All in all he's a handsome rakish looking fellow. He glances at Ebony and grins. "Evenin."

[Raleigh]

"To you as well. So with whom do we share the honor of being caged with today?"
