Michiko put a hand to his forehead facing the scene with the boy from his seat, still smiling, but more of a strained, awkward smile.

"Poor thing. Maybe you should give him some air," Chiko quietly suggested,
"...y'know maybe...possibly...if he needs it."

Neko looks at Chiko, with complete and utter confusion. "So, we should get him a respirator?"

"Not..exacltly....aw forget it. At least he gets to be the center of all this lovely attention." Michiko rationalizes.

[Mitera Nikkou]

"She's talking to me!" Tetsuo thought.

He couldn't believe it. A catgirl, talking to him? Surely, he must be dreaming! And, once he thought that, he realized that his dream was ending. In reality, however, he had just passed out from a lack of respiration. And he looked all stupid, with Xed-out eyes, tongue lolling out of his mouth. If only he knew... Then maybe he would have actually died of embarrassment.

Neko looks at the collapsed otaku. "Okay, I know what to do in this case! CPR!"

She leans down close, puts his tongue back in his mouth, opens and closes his jaw, then locks lips with him.

[Mitera Nikkou]

When Tetsuo came out of his unconscious state, he (of course) found himself being engaged by Neko's lips. His brain literally fried, beyond what his telly, monitor and video games could have ever done. As such, irrational logic came to the fore:

Being kissed by a catgirl = impossible

Occurring in Heaven = possible, but unlikely

Occurring in reality = impossible

Occurring in a dream = possible

Occurring in a dream or Heaven? = unknown

And thus his irrational logic got a big "BOOOO", drove him crazy, and thus he thought: "I must be a catgirl kissing my reflection! Eureka!"

It was then that he began to kiss Neko, unable to rationalize that he hadn't been kissing her before and thus hadn't been a catgirl kissing her reflection. He's crazy-mad, man. Poor otaku guy.

[Mistress Guendolen]

She smiled back. "Hello! I'm Elise. Elise Hamilton. Nice to meet you!" She shook his hand, then took a look at the tableau taking place next to them. "Oh, my. Either this newcomer here is having a spasm of some kind, or he's very very happy.... Possibly even both at once. Wonder what's up with him? Are you sure he's not a zombie after all?..."

"Mmm... He's slowly dying. I think." Gennosuke, having finished his second coffee stood up and nodded towards the Lolita. "Hello there. I'm Gennosuke, who are you?"

[Teddy]

"Nah, he's just not as active as the rest of us are... However, I think that Neko might take a little offense at this 'spasm'... Or this attempt to get a kiss. Though, he might be a zombie, but of a different type."

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise studied the interaction. "Hmmm, she hasn't objected yet.... Granted, she might be too startled right now. That does happen sometimes. And you think this guy might be a social zombie? Wow, I've never seen one of those before." With that, she wandered over to take a closer look.

Neko at first started breathing, but when she felt him respond, and begin to kiss, she kissed him back, breaking lips for a second only to kiss him again, and then she blew softly into his throat, and licked his lips slighly with her tongue.

And gave a thumbs up with one hand.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise headed back to the fellow she'd just been talking to. "Okay, she seems happy enough over there. That's what a thumb up usually means, anyway. At least to me. Wonder how long that kid's going to stay numb, though?... Have to say I find this whole situation curiously entertaining."

[Teddy]

"Ah, yes. Much more entertaining than home. I mean, where else am I going to see something like this?"

[Mitera Nikkou]

Tetsuo couldn't believe it. Well, he was beginning to, but you could literally hear gears and springs malfunctioning in his head as he tried to handle the reality that he found himself in. A catgirl, being so familiar with him? It was almost like he had finally been able to live his fantasy. As an otaku, one of his dreams-that-were-sure-to-never-come-true, was to ever encounter a catgirl, much less be familiar with one. But it was true! And it had happened! And, having been so single-minded in purpose for so much of his life, he decided that he couldn't let go of this opportunity. Damn his room and all of its contents! He had something real now!

So deciding, he, with hearts in his eyes, embraced Neko and tried to kiss her again, lacking all sense and modesty. Again, I note that the author of this post feels sorry for this guy. <.<;

Michiko continued to smile awkwardly and shifted his attention away from the two to give them some privacy, turning around in the booth, but instead getting caught awkwardly between the table and the chair. Scooching the table very audibly, he managed to get situated in fine.

"Don't mind me, you two enjoy each other's company. Young love is grand isn't it." He cooed.

Just glad it's not me this time... He added on as a thought.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Hm, you know, you DO have a point there.... Perhaps they shouldn't be doing that in the middle of the floor here? Though they seem to be having so much fun, I don't really want to be the one to stop them.... Besides, I have to admit to a certain curiosity about how it's all going to turn out. I have a feeling it might be interesting...." Elise took another drink of her mocha latte. "Good thing there's someone else behind the counter, though, that's for sure!"
