The Forest of Teeth

(XD oh lord lets hope the random distraction helps some cause I have a feeling Marisa's gonna be unarmed soon)

The squirrel head is chomping at Ria, while the snake end spots the charging Ria and snaps out at her. The squirrel part bites down on the enchanted weapon, and squeeeals as the wind on the end goes off in it's mouth.

[SweetSophia]

Teras attempts with two more arrows to shoot at the creature while it's distracted.

[Stellar]

Marisa jumped back in the split second she had. "What now..." She looked to her right sword seeing that the acid ate right through the middle of it making it half as effective, and likewise on her left bokuto it was torn off and splintered where the squirrel bit down on it. "Maybe after we finish here in the forest I can afford swords made out of metal," She griped to herself as she stroked what remained of her left bokuto along the cut on her arm she made earlier.

I suppose I'm getting a little more experienced if I managed to use wind twice without recasting the spell, Marisa thought to herself as she backed away from the squirrel, focusing hard to cast blood slash once more in hopes for a more effective element.

[Empusa Sesshi]

One of the arrows thunks into it's rump and it shrieks again in pain and anger...unfortunately the monster chow has in fact done it's job, and a huge porcine beast trots out, it's body covered in lizardlike scales, instead of hooves it has sharp claws at the ends of it's four legs.

[SweetSophia]

"Ah, manifold proclimations of doom! I suppose I brought this on myself..."

Teras drops down from the tree a safe distance away from the new creature and approaches cautiously.

"Might as well give the stupid abillity a try again since it hasn't attacked yet..."

Teras inhales deeply and says the incantation "SPEAK" again, cautiously sidling next to the creature with one hand on his whip.

" You like the food? I have more. I don't suppose you're a friendly scaly beast-thing, are you?" He attempts to communicate.

[Musashi]

Ria flails and attempts dodging this way and that, all the while still smacking at the monster with her stick-staff. It's pretty clear she doesn't exactly have a lot of combat training... it really looks like she has no clue as to what she's doing.

[Stellar]

Marisa closed her eyes seeing the world go a little fuzzy, it seems conjuring the mana for bood slash twice was beginning to fatigue her. She continued focusing on chanting, and soon her bokutos began sparking flames. Thankfully the flames don't actually catch her already worn swords on fire. Once she felt ready she opened her eyes, took a firm but somehwat wobbly stance and looked over the situation.

[Empusa Sesshi]

At the sight of the fire flaring to life the squirrel beast rears and shrieks, scurrying back up the tree and disappearing into the leaves. The boar...thing looks up at the chatty boy.

"More food?" (only Teras can hear this of coruse ^^; )

[Stellar]

"Whoow," Marisa sighed deep, fell back perposfully and landed on her butt. "That was intense..." She opened one of her pouches to rummage through to see if she had anything to clear her drowzyness.

[SweetSophia]

"Wow! It actually worked this time. Well, since the others have Chippy there vanquished...."

"Yes. I have some more with me that I'd be happy to share if you could help us out. We're looking for something that's the animals here into stranger animals."

[Empusa Sesshi]

The boar like creature seems less focused on conversing now, and sticking it's head into your pack in search of food. XD

[Musashi]

Ria watches the monster chipsnake... snakemonk.. whatever.. run away, and does a VICTORY POSE. "Ha! It knew better than to mess with us~!"

She then does her HAPPY VICTORY DANCE on over to Teras and the boar-thingy. "Hey, who's your friend there~?"

[Stellar]

After searching through each of her pouches to find nothing helpful she rubs her eyes then stands up taking her swords wich were still flaming with the magic flame. "Hey... uh.. Ria? Are you alright..." She called out spotting the inexperienced mage. Marisa began walking back over, "And.. Um.. Teras, is that monster safe?"

[SweetSophia]

"Well, he doesn't seem vicious like that fella with the snake tail," Teras says, "I'm trying to interrogate the swine. It would seem that this pig is only interested in the food, but so far, it's cool."

Teras slowly and calmly reaches past the boar into his bag and pulls out a sac of the bait he had prepared. He sets a couple more peices in front of the pig and asks again.

"Do you think you can help us out." He tries again.
