The Underhill Mines

[Empusa Sesshi]

The creatures drag Ebony out and to the room the group passed as they were brought to the prison. The air is thick with the scent of incense and some other less then pleasant scents. There's a large pile of what appears to be clothing tossed into the corner. A small pack of females seems to be picking through them, finding the valuables, jewels and the like. The second pack is cutting and ripping the clothing, probably to make into something more serviceable for the tribe.

[Shadowmaster]

"Wait, why...we have to go help her! We can't let her get eaten, or whatever they are gonna do..." Lyon said weakly.

[Empusa Sesshi]

Alric nods to Lyon and slips the claw out, going to work on the lock with it. "Not exactly ideal tools...this may take a few moments."

[Raleigh]

"Hey, what are you ugly little critters going to do to me? At least let me keep my clothes, not overly fond of being naked."

[Shadowmaster]

"Okay...are you a good fighter? I mean...we need to get out of here, and I'm not exactly in fighting condition right now." Lyon said. "And, I doubt once we rescue Ebony, that she can take them all on..."

[Empusa Sesshi]

He shrugs a bit. "I'm a so-so fighter kid, but not THAT good..." The lock gives a click as the door swings open.

The goblins make way for an older one who shuffles forward, face painted garishly. This one's rather nude, but they all seem to respect him. He begins to chant, his harsh voice echoing all around the room. Ebony feels her pulse quicken and her heart pounds in her chest.

[Raleigh]

"What are you doing to me you rat faced little punks? Hey answer me darn it."

[Shadowmaster]

Lyon steps out of the cage. "Okay, we have to help her..." he stumbles a bit as he walks toward the door.

[Empusa Sesshi]

Ebony feels a rather odd sensation, as the pounding in her chest increases and spreads to her head, her skin takes on a bright green tone. She's starting to shrink, stopping at around four foot even. Her feet get a bit overlarge for her now much smaller body, and little fangs poke out of her lips, but other then that she looks much the same...just herself as...a goblin!

Alric sighs a bit. "Maybe you should stay behind er...I never caught your name kid."

[Shadowmaster]

"My name is Lyon, and I have to go. I will help her." Lyon said.

[Empusa Sesshi]

He frowns. "Alright Lyon...but you need to listen and do what I say." He glances around a few times, before looking up. "Ah...here we go...see there?" He points up, you see one of the ducts that carry smoke from the other areas of the cave complex to the outside.

[Shadowmaster]

"yeah, I see it. Why?" Lyon asked.

[Empusa Sesshi]

He walks under it. "Come over here and give me a boost up."

[Raleigh]

"What the heck? What have you little pests done to me?" Ebony freezes up at that, barely believing her ears as the words came out all mangled. Bad enough to be turned into a goblin, but only being able to speak the same was even worse.

[Empusa Sesshi]

The goblin mystic hmms and looks over the newest female of the tribe. "We're sick of you adventurers killing us off! So we came up with a way of getting rid of you, AND replenishing our diminishing numbers all at once."
