The Tavern

[Meru]

"Yay! Are you a fisherman too? I usually make my living by fishing, and dealing with problems of the sea and water. But I also do some adventuring." Leon tells him, obviously excited.

[Empusa Sesshi]

The old fellow nods. His skin a dark nut brown color, a bit leathery from years and years in the sun. "Aye lad, a fisherman's what I be."

[Meru]

"So let's go! To figure out the mystery of the flying lobster! Oooh.. It could be a new species!" Leon shouts, heading towards the door to leave the inn.

[Empusa Sesshi]

He chuckles a bit. "Now now, not so fast lad. See there be a problem, one o' the pieces o' me boat done broke off. An important one too, the elemental core aye?"

[Meru]

"Ahh.... That will be hard to replace... Or do you have a mine around here where we can get one at?" Leon asks.

[Empusa Sesshi]

He nod nods. "As luck would have it, there's a mage in this town who has one I kin use."

[Meru]

"Oooohh... That is lucky! But aren't wizards temperamental and dislike people bothering them? Or are you on good terms with him?" Leon asks.

[Empusa Sesshi]

"Yes, yes, and no. But I'm sure if you're polite everything will be fine." ^^

[Meru]

"Alright! I'll be polite. So let's go! To find out the secret behind the flying lobsters!" Leon says, heading towards the door again.

[Empusa Sesshi]

"Arr lad, ye'll be makin the trip yerself. Tis just down the street aways, ye'll see the tower soon as ye head outside."

[Meru]

"Alright! Thanks!" Leon tells the old fisherman.
And thusly the fish necromancer headed down the street towards the tower.

[Meru]

Leon re-entered the Tavern, handing the old fisherman the elemental core.
"I managed to get it. And this young lady, Stud, was there, and was interested in the flying lobsters as well." Leon explains, pointing at her.

[Mitera Nikkou]

She flinches a bit at being pointed at so suddenly, then, caught off guard, she lifts her hand in greeting and awkwardly said: "Um, hi...?"

[Empusa Sesshi]

He squints at Stud with his remaining eye, the other one of course covered by a patch...then rather alarmingly shouts: "GAR! A wench on decks be bad luck lad! Are ye soft in yer head?!"

[Mitera Nikkou]

"Who're you calling a wench, you old heap of insect dung!" Stud blustered, shaking a fist at the old fisherman while she glared daggers at him. "You take that back!"

She wasn't about to be treated like some lowly female! Certainly not by this old-looking human that could only dream of having as many women at his beck and call as she had once had. And she would certainly return to such a life; she would guarantee it!
