The Coffee House.

Neko freezes, and drops the tray with the drinks and pie. Luckily, she was just about to set it down, so it only fell about a centimeter. She looks at Michiko, and smiles. "Sugoi..."

[Teddy]

For once, Genno seemed to be at a loss for words. "...Thanks Neko. But we're not... I mean.. It's not. Oh, never mind. I guess this officially makes us a 'couple', right? Nothing more sacred than lemon pie." He blinked at what Michiko did, slowly studying him. "I've... Never seen something quite like that.

[Mitera Nikkou]

Tetsuo felt all funny in his limbs, then in his body. Due to the angle that Michiko had to work with, a minute error in the breadth of one of the strokes was enough to not completely isolate the effects to the limbs, making said effects leak out into his body. It was slow at first, and he was able to yelp when his limbs went slack and caused him to lay prone on the floor. He tried to ask what was happening, but speech became much harder to use by that point and he never got a real word out by the time his whole body went numb. In fact, he was barely aware of his surroundings, as if he had just been given a lobotomy. He just laid there, tongue lolling out from when he tried to speak, and his eyes staring glassily to the side, since gravity pulled his head that way. He was drooling, of course. He drooled while he fantasized, he drooled when he slept, and now he drooled in a coffee shop. My gues is that this is one boy that does drool, 'cause a certain girl does rule. It's simply poetic.

Neko looks at the limp Drool, hoists him up into a chair, and sits him down. She then ties him to the chair, and puts a bib over him. "I'll get you some coffee. If you want the most expensive thing on the menu, nod your head!" With her other hand, she nods his head.

"Goodie! Plus, I'm gonna get one heck of a tip!" She hums merrily as she skips over to get him a "mocha cafe java mocha java mocha java frappacino latte".

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise was even more at a loss for words than Genno. Her mouth opened and closed several times, making her resemble a pretty blonde-haired goldfish. Well, if a goldfish could blush, anyway. She realized she'd been doing that an awful lot since she'd started talking to this guy..... "C-couple?" she finally squeaked. "I- I d-don't think lemon pie has the necessary authority to- to give us that d-designation...." She gulped audibly. "Th-though I guess people are going to start thinking that, what with, you know, your- um- card trick, and what with talking about sharing a place and all...." She realized she was babbling, and gave herself a head-shake to stop it. "B-but there's no good letting perfectly good pie go to waste, is there?" She pulled a plate in front of her and hastily took a large bite. "Mmm, it's good...." Given that her mouth was full at the time, this was barely discernible. But, with the distraction of a sweet treat, she was finally able to notice what had happened in the cafe since she'd absorbed this last comment. "What happened over there?... I see the drool was finally detached from that poor fellow's head...."

[Teddy]

"Yeah... But I think it had alot to do with Michiko's artistic talents there." Gennosuke nearly devoured all the pie he had left, then wiped his mouth. "I was being a bit sarcastic Elise... Lemon pie isn't that sacred."

[Mitera Nikkou]

Somewhere, deep in Tetsuo's subconscious, a lot of screaming could be heard. That part of him was strongly aware of the situation that he was in: the kind of situation where he'd lose the money that he had stolen from his mother so he could get that resin statue of Clairebelle Dingboobs that he had been pining for for so long! Well, it was only for the last two days or so, but that was forever in his mind.

His head fell forward, and drool dripped languidly into his lap.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Well, do forgive me. My mind doesn't seem to be what it used to be.... Having a catgirl refer to you as a 'lovebird' with someone you've only just met will do that to you. And you've been proving to be awfully hard to read as time has passed." She ate some more of the pie. "But at least we got a treat out of it.... I have to admit to a fondness for lemon pie, regardless of it's sacred nature or not. And yes, the paintbrush technique.... That was... truly unusual...."

[Teddy]

"I'll admit, I am a bit difficult... But, just met? Neko just met drool today... And I feel like I've known ya for longer than just these past few minutes." Gennosuke actually blushed... Well, not much. It was just a change in his skin tone. But it still was a blush none-the-less.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise clutched a hand in front of her mouth, trying to disguise a giggle as a cough. Still, her shoulders shook as she attempted not to make her reaction obvious. He blushed! Oh, my.... I don't believe it! Not immune after all! A bit of laughter still ringing in her voice, she said, "You know, that's funny.... I was just thinking I feel like I've known you a lot longer, too...." Then, just curious to see how he would react, she rather deliberately licked a bit of pie filling off the edge of her fork, watching him out of the corner of her eye.

[Teddy]

"What? So surprised that I have emotions Elise? I'm human too... Well, I guess it could be karmic destiny or what-not, reincarnations of ancient lovers. Or it could be that we just like pie."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Not surprised that you have emotions, no. But showing them, well, that's another matter. You seem to me to be someone who usually keeps himself to himself... well, most of the time, anyway!" she added quickly. "There do seem to be, well, a few exceptions...." She polished off the last of her pie. "And, um, reincarnations or something? I- I supposed that's always a possibility.... I mean, you never know. This world can be an odd place, sometimes...."

[Teddy]

"Feh. And here I thought I would continue to keep to myself, all during my stay in this city. You kinda ruined that for me..." He gave a good natured grin, then sighed. "Came ta escape destiny, and it still lays it on heavy. Well, that's just the way it goes."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"What? I'm destiny? Well, that's flattering.... And you don't seem too disappointed about having your plan of perpetual solitude thwarted." She winked. "Especially as you seem to be going out of your way to keep me around...."

[Teddy]

"Eh. I didn't expect my destiny to be this beautiful really. I expected my destiny to come and kill me, then devour my still screaming soul. Or I'd end up like my dad. Which is why I'm here, in this city... But of course, y'know that." He was quiet for a moment, as if deciding on WHY he's been keeping Elise around for as long as he has. Finally, he spoke up, very quietly. "I've... Been keeping you around 'cause it felt right to."
