A TV Series would have to tread carefully to avoid getting sued, but if you made it a legitimate parody, it could work.

You could honestly make a flash series parodying it, or a fanfic parodying it, right this very second and not get sued. That would be the better course.

Desu is a Japanese linking verb. It's like "is a". It's a more formal version of the linking verb 'da'

It can also be added to the end of the sentence to make it more polite. 'Da' does not have this function.

Example: If a samurai is threatening to chop your head off, you would say "Please, please, please spare me desu"
