Well, I personally don't think you look bad. I think you look cute. :D And dark blue is a very nice color on you. *Nodnod* M' not trying to sugar-coat, that's just what I think. *Shrug*

But if you are unhappy with yourself, you can set and achieve goals to improve yourself. Nothing is impossible. :3

You know we love you no matter what. You could look like a giant drooling mutated diseased zebra n' buttermilk biscuit hybrid, and we'd still love you cause you're our Guen. XD

**giggles** Thank you. You did just make me feel a little better, there.... **hug** At least I know I'm not the drooling mutant-beast you used as an example there! And I do concede that dark blue is a good color for my complexion. It's just the shape of the person inside the garment that bothers me. If they weren't so much bother, I'd wear corsets on a regular basis. At least I look like I have a waistline, then. Goals are all well and good, but it doesn't help too much when the only time you're able to make an impact on them is to go through a phase of eating less than a thousand calories a day and complusively practicing martial arts, a regimen which I gave up after a couple of months because it was driving me crazy. Guess I just have an ultra-slow metabolism. Though that mutant biscuit hybrid creature is still making me laugh....

I think you get me partially wrong Guen. I was not commenting on how attractive you actually look but on how well you fit societies expectations of looks. You have a nice face for example and the way you are large is one that fits and doesn't looks wrong. My main point anyway was that it is not the actual looks but how you handle them and how you behave that is important to how attractive you are. So you are by no means an unattractive woman, you just differ from the norms of society. I did get it expressed poorly before. I am sorry i got it said the wrong way.

That's okay. It's easy to misunderstand when you don't have verbal or visual cues, after all. Don't worry about it. And at least I know I apparently carry it off better than I've always thought.... I'm just in the wrong time period, aesthetics-wise. My build would go over better in the Renaissance or something. I do look good in a bodice, if I do say so myself.... But thanks for taking the time to clarify what you meant. That's really nice of you.

...Gwen, don't be darned self-conscious. You're nearly a dead ringer of a girl I tried to date, but realized she was too old for me. And yeah, you would probably fit in better a few centuries ago, but eh. This is the hand fate's dealt ya. Make the best of it, right? Oh, and too build up my own ego... Yerah, none of us can see you. Of course, it raises the question...if a camera's flash catches your face, would it glare off the paleness enough to blind us with the light?

**hug** Thanks. Good to know I haven't scared off my "husband," at least. I've never actually caused anyone to go blind, no, but people do tend to express amazement at how pale my skin is. I periodically hear, "My God, your skin is so WHITE!" or whatever. Hey, it's either that or lobstery red. And I do consider it one of my better points. You guys are actually improving my ego a bit, you know. Not sure how we managed the triplicate posting. Guess we're just that good. Oh, and would you mind transplating the bit of leet at the end there? That's a foreign tongue to me....

Tht last part was directed toward MoS. It brings back memories of the ROAST OF MASTEROFSHADOWS THAT ONLY THREE PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN BEFORE IT DIED.

Your skin isn't particularly white as far as i can tell. It is nothing against my little sister at least. On her class photo this year she looks almost like a vampire in coloration. Chalky white skin and dark hair, compared to that your whiteness is nothing special.

Well, here's a picture from back in the day, probably from the Summer of '98 (if I remember correctly). At the latest, it'd be '99. Pardon the bad quality of the picture.

On the right is my sister. That's about all that I can say about her. ;p

In the middle is Tara, the pal that Gwen reminded me of. Must've been one of those rare times when she had her hair cut short, as she usually has her hair down to the middle of her back (at least). Anyway, despite this picture being seven or eight years old, that's pretty much how she looks today.

Of course, the person on the left is none other than myself, lanky as ever. Also wearing black in this one... Of course, even though my pants aren't shown, I know they're a deep purple. XD

Besides, you gotta dig my this-is-my-goofball-mood-smile kind of smile. When I'm in that kind of mood (and I'm around people I'm comfortable with), I pirouette if I need to turn around (if the surface I stand on is slippery enough). Or, if I need to get to something that's only a few steps away, I'll leap all silly-ballet-like to get there.

Besides, I still have a beard in this picture. It's just a buzzcut style. ;p
