I say Batman. Given that Wolverine seems to be a vicious fighter and that he is immune to almost everything (although it still causes him pain), and he has all those feral instincts that make him an excellent tracker on top of a huge lot of skills he's trained in over his lifetime....actually, come to think of it, between Wolverine's insticts, Batman's detective skills, both thier extensive training and mastery of a whole lot of crap, I'd say they'd come out pretty even. I'd say it'd come down to Wolverine's willingness to kill vs. Batman's resourcefulness. While Wolverine is intelligent, when at the end of his rope, he tends to fly into bezerker rages, while Batman when pushed to his limit relies on his wit and spur of the moment planning and observation to win him a victory.

The real answer though, is that they'd end up needing to team up to take on a real enemy or combination of their personal enemies and leave the score unsettled.

For all the doubters of Wolverine's healing factor, he's been literally ripped in half and still kept fighting. Wolverine has just as much experience as Batman, and a surprising amount of dicipline. He is a ninja, after all. Besides, Wolverine is faster and stronger and can take a lot more punishment than Batman. I'd say Batman's a better fighter, but Wolverine would end up winning.

Wolverine is practicly imortal with the healing factor and the unbreackable bones, batman is just sherlock homes with kung fu and gadgets.

Batman ain't even close to sherlock. He does, however, tend to have a lot of contingency plans. One big plot arc was that he had contingency plans in case any member of the Justice League went crazy, and then Deathstroke the Terminator stole them...

Then, he had a monitoring system to watch Heroes, and another guy stole it...

That wasn't really Batman's fault. He built the monitoring system because he was paranoid and distrustful because Zatanna had messed with his memories.
