The Forest of Teeth

[Empusa Sesshi]

So the now rather odd looking companions move forward, following the trail of footprints. At this point they spot much more fauna, apparently the odd hybrids not so wary now that the group has joined their number. The trail leads further into the forest, but dead ends at a large tree.

[SweetSophia]

Teras looked up at the tree and attempted to use his jumping trick to climb it, but her new phisique managed to get in the way, sending her sliding back down the trunk, unimpressively on her back.

"Ok...this is a dead end," She says, from her upside-down vantage point, "I'd try and climb up it to see if there was something on the other side, but these...these...things are not very areodynamic and my balance is all off..."

In frustration mixed with instinct, she bites into the wood angrily.

[Stellar]

Marisa thinks for a moment, "Well, if the foot prints end here, maybe theres a secret passage or something that warps people to a different place if a certain word is said?" She looks at the ground ... Not quite able to tell where anyone has walked, "Uh.. Teras, where is the last two steps this person took?"

[SweetSophia]

Teras takes her teeth out of the bark and steps back to examine the ground for the last tracks.

[Musashi]

Ria, now being a chipmunk boy, felt the XTREME INSTINCTUAL URGE to climb the tree. And so he did attempt it! Skittering and chittering and searching for a lead!

[Empusa Sesshi]

Well the tracks dead end RIGHT at the tree's trunk. Teras enjoys a good gnaw, and Ria skitters up the tree...only to find that it keeps going...up, and up...and up. Finally at the top she sees...another top, only pointing down at him!

Teras rights herself and points to the center bottom of the trunk where the footprints end.

"They stop here, rather abruptly. Methinks if there was an entrance, here it would be." She says.

She also pouts a little, jealous that Ria can climb better than her.

[Stellar]

Marisa walks up to the trunk of the tree and knocks on it seeing if it might be hollow.

[Musashi]

Ria tried to do a super CHIPMUNK JUMP onto the tree above! At that moment, he felt like SUPER CHIPMUNK. The power of chipmunky-ness flowed through his veins. :O

[Empusa Sesshi]

Well the tree itself seems rather solid, doesn't appear to be hollow or anything. Ria finds himself on the forest floating above them, looking up at the forest floor. It's more then a little disorienting.

[Stellar]

Marisa sighs, "Great... I have no idea what to do..." After staring at the ground for a moment she looked around, "Uh hey.. Where'd Ria go?" Marisa is either tired or focusing way too hard on the situation to have not seen Ria climb the tree XD

Teras points upwards, indicating the direction in which Ria had travelled.

"He hath climbed yon tall of tree and lept onto the mirrored forrest," She explained.

"Maybe the persons responsible went upwards."

[Stellar]

Marisa looked up the tree, "Ohhh... I've never climbed a tree before.." She ties her sticks to her hip and grabs onto the tree... After a moment to make sure she had a decent grip she tried getting higher, one limb at a time.

[Musashi]

Ria tries to climb up.. down... the mirror-tree but, being all disoriented, he loses his grip and goes plummeting. :O He tries to cast a spell to slow his fall, but all that happens is a bunch of winged acorns appear fluttering in the air.

Teras gloomily gazes upward, feircly jealous that everyone has the ability to climb save herself.

She focuses on the beaver instinct and abillites, trying to ingore the new shift in weight and begins to scale the tree after Marisa before stopping to watch the descent of Ria.
