I love you Maiden. You always come through for me and my love for cat girl pics. I found that in the Purrian cap this time, you seemed to use the word 'strange' alot. Not a big deal, just noticed. Loved the teachers pet one. If only I had a teacher that nice. Th Kitsune one was pretty neat, I thought. All and all, love them.

I used the word three times, to make the caption more charming. ;p

But I'm glad that you liked them. Just don't love me too much, because I'm already taken by myself. XD

I think you need to do a follow-up on the Purrian one. It was left open-ended, and I, for one, would like to see how the experience worked out. Heck, you could base an entire story around that! Interesting take on the Afterlife, in the angel one. I'm not entirely clear on why one must be female to enter Heaven, but it's still a unique perspective, overall. I was also really intrigued by the kitsune one. Definitely another possible story concept, that is. And why do I get the feeling that if the boy with the baby had taken the genie up on the wish to be a childcare expert, he'd have ended up a mother?... You gotta be careful with genies, as we've learned in a roleplay in these parts. ;) They're sneaky.

Not to be rude or anything, but to me... The idea that the two different versions of the afterlife catered to the either the mind or the body was very interesting, but to me, there seemed to be no real reason as to why people had to be female, beyond "just because." And I sorta dislike it when you are forced to be changed into something else just to go where you want to go, especially in the afterlife. But this brings up the question, are females changed to male if they choose the body instead of mind?

Gwen:

Ah, I see that you caught the become-a-mother wish, which would have been the typical way to go. See, the genie listened to his master, and said master told the genie that his ideas were good. So, when the wish left it open on how much more managable to make taking care of that guy, he turned him into a toddler since they're less managable to one degree or another. I thought it was a good twist to lead up to matching the image.

Gwen & Meru:

I tried to make it obvious as to why the afterlife was arranged like that, but I'll elaborate here. First, note that there are two Gods, and each one has their own realm (either Heaven or Hell). Each place is arranged like Yin and Yang, where they're dominant in one aspect while having a bit of the other as well. They're like Earth, where it's both circumstancial and how you and others act. Now, I tossed out "good" and "bad" because I think that a fair God would know that not everyone (even between the two Gods in this) perceives good and bad in the same way. So, Heaven and Hell focus on aspects of living, kind of like a paradise on Earth. However, being Gods, they can decide how they run their sections. I'd like to say that they work in mysterious ways here, but they don't. This version of Heaven was inspired by the saying, "in the eyes of children, mother is God." And I thought, "Why not?" So that's Heaven's God's stipulation, because she likes being a mother (note that she has a husband here sharing in their work). I left out anything about the husband having a stipulation for everyone going to Hell being male, because that's not the case. He has different stipulations, based on his own desires (much like the mother). See, each place is balanced. Either can be your dream, and either can be your nightmare. They also know that things like sex are as inconsequential as a standard perception of good and bad. And, when you live forever, you'll learn that what matters is how you live your life, and thus the reason for Heaven and Hell being set up to cater to living out your desires.

Besides, I never said anything about staying a young girl now and forever, did I? It's a stipulation for entering, but, when you live forever, one needs change. But, I reckon that the mother does work in mysterious ways, when it comes to doing some things. ;p

Mitchell:

You give me too much credit. XD I'm just a lowly captioneer, that doesn't know how to make proper ones. And I doubt I'm a powerhouse in the vignette (or whatever) arena as well. <.<;

Very nice captions. I particularly liked the last one as a nice take on the transofrmations done at MSF. (The fact that it looks like my pre-Eternal female form is just a bonus.)
Tell me, for what price would you give up hope?
Would you follow the will o' the wisp of the brightest morning star?
How far?

Nikkou, that you can put much effort and a story into such a caption shows you have great skill. If this is your trash heap, I await your masterpieces.

I'm no Disney. XD

Besides, I consider any caption a masterpiece if it inspires someone to do something with a main idea, whether if it's expanding the caption itself, building a story around it, or using a main idea to create a whole new story. And stuff like that. As far as I know, I just have one masterpiece. Out of two-hundred and eighty possible masterpieces. I think that speaks enough about my quality, itself. @_@;

Nekkid... I have to say, that reading other captions inspires me to keep making my own. I know it's been forever since I've made some, but I've slowly been working on a couple. Finding pictures is mainly what slows me because I have stories with no pictures (And those stories take specific pictures), and I don't like my ideas without pictures =P

After saying that, by your logic, every caption on MSF is a masterpeice including yours ^_^ But not mine because I don't inspire myself O.o I read over my own captions and wonder what the hell I was thinking.

PS I love the mermaid one! ^_^

That's not my logic. XD When I see a story (or even a caption) from you, based on an idea in one of my captions, I'll accept it as a masterpiece. I didn't mean being inspired in general. ;p Sure, it's nice to be inspired to make a caption when you see others making them, but then what? Then you might ask: "Well, what about you?" And I'll say: "When I see a hole, I'll fill it. When I see a missed opportunity, I'll take it. When I see something that others often overlook, I'll show it to them." That is what inspires me. I enjoy being creative in general, but I want to inspire people to explore things (both new/different and old-made-new or old-done-differently) that many people just, well, don't pay much attention to.

Maybe I should make a story contest. Perhaps when I reach three-hundred captions... XD That ought to be enough material to work with. ;p

Wild guess which one I like the best. Anyway, none of you caps are trash in my book. All are grand, or better (catgirl ones). The mermaid one is a nice change. The "Bowel of Hell" was also great.

So in your mind, which one was your "Only Masterpiece"?

Silly kitty. Frosted flakes are for kids. ;p

Well, officially, the only one (that I'm aware of) would be... This one. Garath made a short story using the main idea used in it. Other than that, I have plenty of personal favorites. However, making captions is just a sign that I'm failing to write actual stories, so it's my hope that others make stories out of the ideas I use. And, thus, I have only one "masterpiece."

But many of your captions are stories. Just illustrated stories.
