It's been a long while since I posted in this particular topic, so I thought, maybe I'd post an update.

Due to like.....ALL my friends telling me to shave off my mustache, it's 'Gone with the Wind' so to speak. From what I can gather I really look better without it, so it's stayed off for now.

This is me from a year or two ago still WITH the mustache just so you can see the differance:

But, yeah, I can see what you mean with the mustache. Well, I just think that it doesn't match the sunglasses, or vice versa. With sunglasses, you look better without the mustache.

And I can picture you moving around in that pose all of the time, using stop-motion. ;p

ohmygosh!!! You actually remember that series too? AWESOME. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to find out if he ever had any siblings, it's really hard to trace the lineage of a snake when his previous owner was arrested for animal abuse

But I had another pet at one point namedAzalin... can you name THAT series? XD

They're doing so, actually....

Animated movies, to be precise. And before you panic, apparently there have been painstaking attempts to be true to the book. Apparently Raistlin's voice actor was obsessive about pronouncing the magical names precisely right. I'm looking forward to it. I loved that series. "Chronicles" was my gateway into fantasy.

Oh, and Garath, you definitely look better without the moustache. In fact, if you don't mind my saying so, you look pretty good.... Though I agree that you need to smile more. Like this.

I agree with everybody else, getting rid of that mustache made you look much nicer as well as taking several years off your apparent age. It was really an improvement.

And while i know a lot of people who haven't heard about the Majere brothers, pretty much all my friends have. Chronicles is a classic of epic proportions, sure it isn't actually that good when you read it again (i've tried) but it still meant a lot to shape and define interest in fantasy for incredibly many people.

I remember reading Dragons of Summer Flame in my school library 15 years ago. It was my first encounter with modern fantasy novels (Lord of the Rings has been a family obsession since well before the films were even a concept), and with a form of the D&D mythos and I still remember it well. Some of the gaming-related stuff surrounding DL annoyed me, which I won't go into here, but the novels were sound and acted as a doorway to fantasy for so many people.

Oh, and agreed. You do look a lot better without the 'tache, Garath, kind of Matt-Damon-y ^^
