[Xiao]

Daniel raised an eyebrow at her first statement, but assumed it would be better to leave her alone if she persisted. "Alright then, if you need anything feel free to ask." he said before he started to hobble back to his apartment.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Thank you for the offer! I'll be sure to remember it." Funny, wouldn't think someone so young would have a limp- I mean, he looks about the same age as Genno and I. But you can't very well ask about something like that.... Should I have asked if he knew anything about first aid, though?... No. Too many questions. Then she shut the door behind her, checking to see how Neko was doing.

Still not bleeding profusely, still unconscious. Her breathing is regular, and it sounds like she's snoring slightly.

"Snoring? Okay, that's good, it means she's just asleep.... iI'll just keep guard over her quietly, then, unless something happens." Elise settled down on the couch. "I just keep thinking I should go after Genno, but I certainly can't leave her here alone- I wish I could somehow be two places at once!"

By the time that he was out of eyesight from Elise, he gave up his limp and began to walk normally, She's not a very good lier, he thought with a grin on his face.

He entered his room and sat back down on the couch, he looked down at his dufflebag and began to concentrate on it's contents. Several books, surrounded by a dim purple light, lifted out of the bag and began to arrange themselves on a shelf. His robe lifted out of the the bag, along with a few more clothes sifted into a closet. "I love being able to do that," Daniel said leaning back on the couch as the remaining contents of the bag began to unload themselves. He became so relaxed he didn't notice the bag, as it was entering the closet, knock over a lamp, which fell over and shattered with a loud crash.

The loud crash almost works as a signal. A figure on the rooftop across the building pulls a trigger. Elise doesn't even notice as she slumps over, a small dart in her neck, which drops off and falls behind the cusions.

Yankee Rose smiles. "Gotcha."

She leaps off the rooftop and flies right through the window. She rolls along the carpet to the door, and stands up. She grabs Neko, settles her as if she's supported on one shoulder, and slowly walks out of the room. As she gets to the elevator, she smiles at someone who's staring. "I told her, when she comes over, no beers!"

Daniel steps over the the lamp and looks over the damage, Dang, the body itself I could repair, but the bulb will need to be replaced. he closed his eyes and began to focus his concentration on the lamp, which began to piece itself back together.

After he had finished, he inspected the work, it didn't look near perfect, still signs of cracks and minor misalignments, but it was decent and would work for now.

His focus on the lamp had kept him from noticing anything suspicious happening outside, so he grabbed one of his more basic alteration books, and began to look up how to perform the remantling spell.

OOC: Hey, how long should I expect this sedative to last, and does it have any side effects? I need to decide when I wake up, or if I even do by the time Genno gets back. And if there are no side effects, should I just treat it as waking up from a faint? I can do that, luckily....

(It's waking up from a faint/nap. I'd say you wake up either when Genno gets back, or when somebody wakes you. Without outside interferance, you should be out for an hour or two I'd think.)

OOC: Okay, thanks. That's about what I was thinking. I have the dubious priviledge of having woken up from a faint once (a few years back; long story, kind of), so at least I can describe it accurately....

((Hmm, would it be alright if I made a strangly convienient event happen to keep Guen and me from getting locked? I can't really do anything right now, but I know some people get annoyed at overly convienient things happening.))

(OOC: Depends on how overly convenient. If it makes sense, go for it. Say, you want to borrow glue to fix the broken lamp, find the door not quite latched, and stick your head in, or something like that, it could make sense. Just use your imagination and see what you can dream up that's plausible. Plausible convenient occurrences are a tradition of gaming, after all.

Daniel, after researching how to increase the efficiency of the remantling spell, sat down next to the lamp.

Renovo he muttered as he lifted his hand to the lamp. Several of the cracks began to disappear, while several of the shards quivered under the magical influence. Suddenly, the light bulb burst with a shatter, the spell had attempted to fix the unbroken bulb, causing it to break under the pressure.

"God dang it!" Daniel said as he shielded his face from the shards of glass, the lamp itself however, now looked very similar to how it did before it broke, only with the occasional crevice.

I need a broom, and a new lightbulb, I don't need that happening again just yet, he thought as he rose. He began his fake limp out of his room incase anyone was wandering the halls.

Hmm, where would the supplies be kept? he thought as he stepped out into the hall, Perhaps that person I was talking to earlier would know... He approached Elise's door and was about to knock, when he noticed that it was ajar, not enough to see inside, but the bolt was sticking out in front of the frame. Odd for someone who was trying to keep people out of her room to leave it open like that, he thought before opening the door to where he could get a decent view.

He looked around the room and saw Elise "sleeping" on the couch. Odd, she didn't seem that tired when I was speaking with her, and is that a natural position go fall asleep in? Seeing as she was still there, he began to feel rather intrusive and quietly shut the door. Still needing the things however, he decided on acting as if he didn't know she was asleep and knocked on the door.

(You're welcome to wake Elise, I'll rule that simply knocking won't wake someone who's been hit with a tranq dart.)

Outside, Rose has climbed to the top of the nearby rooftop with her burden, namely the unconscious Neko. "Girl, you GOTTA lose some weight. Or is it just that you're like carrying a dang dead body." She places Neko on the ground, and pulls out a transmitter. "Now, clear sky, so this should work."

She pushes the button, and tosses it to the ground. A circle of light appears, and begins to glow green. Around that green, is a square of red, with a x floating in mid-air. She lifts Neko one last time, and steps into the circle, and feels the X pass through her body.

There is a sudden jolt, and then she is gone, back at headquarters. The device begins to smoke, and lies there. She is gone, beyond their reach. For now.

After about a minute of knocking Daniel began to get slightly nervous. He opened the door and walked over to where Elise was laying, "Hey, are you alright?" he asked her, trying to wake her up.
