I vaguely remembered as a kid that "Soundwave" from the original Transformers toy line, in one of his boxes, came with pretend headphones.
Now Soundwave is an MP3 player and Optimus Prime's trailer is an I-Pod docking bay, officially licensed from Apple complete with speakers.

ew...... lot to say about the promotional effect... but just keep it at... it may be cool... but it degenerates the series even more.
