[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise leaned in close and whispered to Genno, "Maybe... we should just go. We can try to contact her later and talk her around.... You need some help. I want to get you off this thing, get you what you need, and then get you home and safe...." She tightened her arm a bit. "I thought I'd lost you once; I'm not letting you slip away now because we had to debate social and political theory.... Your life is too important, at least to me."

Neko closes her eyes and shivers. "Okay, I'll go." She looks back to Catnip. "You mind?"

Catnip shakes her head. "Meh, just promise to help clean up the mess after things go crazy. Please?"

Neko sighs. "Okay, I'll help you guys if you win, but I'll make sure that doesn't happen."

Catnip nods. "Okay. I look forward to meeting you then, 'cause I'm pretty sure I'm stronger than you. One hit, and you're out like a light!"

Neko laughs, as she moves over to stand with Elise and Genno. "Yeah, that's why you won't get that hit! I'll see you then."

[Teddy]

He nodded at Elise, then whispered back. "Just... Let me take care of one last thing."

Genno limped over to Tetsuo, frowing. "I'm.. Sorry. I should've stopped the attack before it hit you. If this gets out of hand, this is my fault. Gennosuke causes the end of the world!" He chuckled grimly, then tried not to fall over.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"You're coming with us? After all?" Elise blinked at her. Catgirls were capricious things indeed.... "I do think this is for the best, but are you really sure? I mean, you did talk about wanting to stay close to someone you loved, after all.... But if you're seriously coming, we need to go. Soon. Genno needs some medical help. And... there's someone else I have to go pick up before we go. The person who helped me get here." I almost forgot about him- dramatic reunions can really wipe a lot out of a girl's mind. Just hope he wasn't wandered off somewhere.... And we can figure out a way to get four of us out of here.... Then she ran over to once again put her arm around Genno to support him. "I... think we'd better go. I just wish things could have gone better for all concerned...."

Neko nods to them. "I'm sure. I love Tetsuo enough to respect her wishes. If she's strong enough to be apart from me, I am." I just hope we can be reunited. Outside the battefield, where the only love that blooms is tragedy. You know, Metal Gear DOES make people more poetic!!

Neko leads the way, with a bit of a smile for just a second, then her look returns to being solemn.

They make their way back to the docking bay easily, where Xiao is hopefully still waiting. The only question is whether or not his broom can hold them all, or if some of them will have to take the hang-gliders.

[Xiao]

By this time, Xiao was feeling much better and looking around the landing area. He wasn't moving much to avoid setting anything off. Better to stay in here than get lost looking for the others... he thought as he took a step to the side to get a better view of a small motor.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise quietly let Neko lead the way, offering Genno whatever support he needed. "Soon, don't worry, it'll be soon...." she whispered to him, trying to be as comforting and encouraging as possible. "It won't be much longer before I have you home and safe...." And when I know you're doing better, I think I have something to tell you.... She watched for the landing bay, eager to get off this blimp and back down on the ground, where help could be found.

[Teddy]

Genno followed, it wasn't like he knew where he was going to go. He limped away, giving one last look towards Tetsuo. "I think I can make it Elise. I really do."

[Mitera Nikkou]

"Thanks, Catnip..." Tetsuo spoke up weakly with a meaningful expression, sounding grateful.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Oh- um- okay, then...." She reluctantly removed her arm and stepped away a bit. "I... didn't mean to be clingy.... I was just... worried, you know?..." You don't know how worried yet, but I'll tell you later....

Genno followed, it wasn't like he knew where he was going to go. He limped away, giving one last look towards Tetsuo. "I think I can make it Elise. I really do."

Cantip smiles. "I don't feel bad about letting her go. You catch more flies with honey, after all. Or something like that. I'm still catching up on sayings. Most I ever got was 'that white stuff is not flour', or 'when putting coke in a condom, don't use one from a convenience store. Use a good one. And put the good one in a ziploc bag.'"



Neko, Genno, and Elise get back to the docking bay without incident. However, Neko, upon seeing Xiao, lets out a shrill scream and jumps behind a nearby staircase. "IT'S BLACK MAGE! HE'LL KILL US ALL AND NOT LEAVE CORPSES!"

[Mitera Nikkou]

Cantip smiles. "I don't feel bad about letting her go. You catch more flies with honey, after all.

"What do you mean...?" Tetsuo queried, looking confused.

[Teddy]

"Sorry... I know how worried you were. Probably about as worried as I was that I was never going to see you again." Genno then blinked at Neko, then looked at Daniel curiously. "Is he the guy that helped you up here?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise was nonplussed enough by Neko's apparent past experiences to opt to say nothing, though the talk of condom use did make her blush.... "I was worried I'd never see you again, either...." she said softly to Genno. But next thing she knew, they were at the landing bay and the catgirl was charging her mysterious helper and screaming. She ran after the girl, trying to catch her. "Wait! No! He's okay! He's the one who helped me get up here! Don't attack him!" She glanced back at Genno, hair swinging wildly. "Guess that answers your question?- Neko, just don't make me use my umbrella on you to stop you!"

(Condoms were by Catnip, and out of range.)

Neko turns around. "Are you sure he's not Black Mage. I mean, he's a mage, and he has no face. But he won't kill me?"

She looks to the mage. "Mr. Mage? Can you help me and my friends get down from here without dying?" She seems extremely nervous.



Catnip kisses Tetsuo on the nose. "I mean, I know Neko will be back. She said as much. And when she's back, she'll know you were right to stay with your new family."
