[Mistress Guendolen]

OOC: Oops. Sorry. I got mixed up.... Well, she would have blushed if she'd heard it.

IC: "No. He's not going to kill any of us. We flew up here on what basically amounted to a broomstick; if he had killing in mind, he could have 'accidentally' dumped me in mid-air all too easily. But I don't think that staff will ferry all four of us...." She looked around the landing bay uncertainly.

[Xiao]

Xiao looked over his shoulder, surprized by the sudden scream, and saw Elise, who he assumed was the guy she was talking about earlier, and the nervous catgirl.

"No, the best I have seen carried was three, and that was very slow, close the ground, and by a much more experienced mage," he said in response to Elise, a small chuckle in his voice caused by Neko's comment, "And no, I don't plan on killing anyone, however I believe that the equipment around here could help you three down."

[Mitera Nikkou]

Catnip kisses Tetsuo on the nose. "I mean, I know Neko will be back. She said as much. And when she's back, she'll know you were right to stay with your new family."

"I'm not sure I understand..." Tetsuo replied, confused. "All of the catgirls are my family, technically, right?"

She nods. "In that case, I actually feel sorta relieved. Um...Hang-gliders or parachutes?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Speaking for myself, I've never used either before.... But with some help, I'm sure I could manage. Because I think Genno should ride on the broom. He's had the hardest time of it...."

Neko nods. "I agree. I'll try a parachute." She gets one, and fits it on. "Ready." She also reads the instruction manual, to make sure she gets it right.

[Xiao]

Xiao took a few steps towards the entrance, tilting his staff to where he could mount it, but not doing so yet.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"I guess I'd better do the parachute, too. I have no idea how to pilot a hangglider, and I do want to make it to the ground in one piece...." She picked up the backpack, looking at it uncertainly. "But please tell me that this thing comes with a set of instructions." And a blindfold. I really don't want to look down and see the ground dropping closer.... I should have dragged out my knickerbockers for this.

Catnip kisses Tetsuo on the nose. "I mean, I know Neko will be back. She said as much. And when she's back, she'll know you were right to stay with your new family."

"I'm not sure I understand..." Tetsuo replied, confused. "All of the catgirls are my family, technically, right?"

Catnip laughs. "You must be getting better, to be so quick. Yeah, Neko is family. That's why I know she'll come back to us. So we'll all be one big happy family. Everybody, will be one big happy family." She sits down in a chair, and gets a far-off look in her eyes. "With a house big enough for all of them, and enough food to feed all of them. Forever and ever."



There are instructions, though they are relatively simple. They each have a small pilot chute, and you toss that in the air when you reach a certain height. If that doesn't work, you pull the string, releasing the emergency chute. Deploying the reserve parachute also cuts the pilot chute and main chute. There is NO automatic deployment system for the reserve chute. A note scrawled by Scientia mentions that it was too buggy.

Neko, having read this, has already jumped. However, on the page after the one Neko's dropped manual has, there's a notice to be careful while jumping over cities and such, since there are numerous hazards, like planes. And being low to the ground.

Elise, however, did read these directions, with some chagrin. "Uh-oh...." She hurried over to the side, peering down and dreading what she might see.... All the while quietly wondering if the hangglider might be a better choice after all, even if she had no clue how to pilot it.

[Mitera Nikkou]

"I'd like to be happy with everyone..." Tetsuo admitted, blushing, more due to the more intimate images she pictured in her mind than what she had said aloud.

She sighed and closed her eyes, feeling like sleeping but not quite able.

[Xiao]

"Uh oh?" Xiao asked as he walked over to where he could see over the side, "Why say uh oh? Something wrong?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Um.... quite possibly...." She couldn't see clearly; there was cloud cover. This could be good or bad.... "I... think she didn't read all the directions...." And held out the direction sheet silently.

Guen can't see Neko, the blimp is traveling fast enough that she was swept behind. (And note that hang-gliders actually have the same problems. Just better aiming. Maybe.)

Catnip smiles. "I do as well, but it can't happen like everything is right now. That's why we want to change things...' Her eeyes are closed as well, she figures she can wait a little longer for Neko and friends to flee.

Elise peered over the side again. "What a quandary.... Either way it's a risk, but do I want to try this one, which might not fill out in time, or something that requires pilotage, which I've never done?..." For the first time since setting foot on this blimp, she seemed to be at a loose end and not sure what to do next.
