"i went ahead and grabbed a bunch of em because at the rate everyones coming in we'll have 49 or so within a few hours! NYA!"
i sat them down by the couch.

"Does anyone have any clue what this is or why us or anything like that? I have to say I'm distinctly ticked about it." One hand clenched a bit, as though preparing to make a fist.

"ill be right back!" i said as i jumped out the window to get to kate.

"Tokyo Mew Mew?..." Cassia's brow furrowed. "Yeah, I think I heard something about that... it sounded pretty weird. And yeah, of course I've always been a girl! Do I look like a boy to you?" Then the other implication sunk in. "What, do you mean you weren't?" Her ears twitched. "Wait- I thought I heard something-" She stopped, eyes questing around for any sign of something even stranger.

"May?" She looked around. "You're the sound I heard, right?" This one was wearing white and silver, and had white feline features. "So, the mysterious freaks got you too? How the heck many of us are there, anyway?... And my name's Cassia. Yours?"

"URK- SHUT UP KATE!!! I WAS IN STEALTH MODE!!!! NYOW!... yeah 3 out of 5 of us were boys who found these jewelery pieces. me, kate there, and thos other girl in my attic, i suppose everyone that it happened to was attracted there so its now a meeting spot!"

"Stealth mode? Well, can't say that yelling like that is too stealthy, no offense meant.... But there's five of us? I guess we do need a meeting place, of for no other reason than to figure out what the heck happened to us, and how to fix it! I never expected my night to be this freaky.... And why in blazes would most of the people changed be boys? I feel like I'm the weird one, now! I mean, usually I'm down with weird, but this is ridiculous!"

She spread her hands. "Well, don't have anything to lose by coming, do I? I can't exactly go home like this. Though my parent's'll be freaking out either way. If I don't go home, they'll go nuts, but if they see this-" she indicated the ears and tail- "they'll totally flip. Heck, I totally flipped when I realized it! So yeah, guess you should lead the way. I want to find out how to get rid of these stupid things...." She nodded at Kate. "Yeah, I got the fox. For some reason, I thought following one would be a good idea, and just look where it got me. Those things are always tricksters in stories. I should've known," she grumbled. "And let's hope we're not stuck like this long enough to form any club other than one about being survivors of the crazy animal plague."
