(OOC: A new outfit would be best, I guess. Probably something revealing and skimpy that hadn't been her choice, to kind of match up with her comment earlier since she had made it as if she were still wearing an outfit damaged by fire.)

Tetsuo's current outfit was actually a sewn-together version of her old outfit. It was now a sleeveless number, which showed off her midriff. Her top also showed off her cleavage, held together by a ring around two seperate pieces of fabric. The ring had a snappable opening, to take it on and off. She could also see that while her skirt was decent, it dig look a little charred. All in all, this was not the kind of outfit that would prevent getting shot in the gut. Then again, if she was assisting a sniper, getting shot at would mean she had already failed.

Tetsuo got to her feet, trying to ignore her outfit, and thankful that she still had those comfortable sneakers on her feet. She tried to mentally prepare herself for what was to come, but she still had her doubts about herself, what she should do, and had misgivings in general. But watching Rose's back and checking the environs should be okay... She hoped.

Catnip and Rose help her to her feet, while the Boss smiles and leaves. Rose looks over her. "Ya think ya can walk. Ya wanna rest up till the mission starts, or ya wanna go see Teacher's Pet. She's okay, 'cept for the big bump on her head."

"I think I can manage... I guess." Replied Tetsuo, not finding too much difficulty with her body.

And, feeling a bit responsible for what happened to TP, she decided that she wanted to go there to see how she was doing, and apologize.

"Can you show me where she is?" She asked, referring to TP's location.

Catnip and Rose help her get around the large blimp, and reach another medical room, where Teacher's Pet is sitting up in bed, reading a book, with a large bandage wrapped around her head. There's also a large collection of flies pinned to various walls around her. When they enter, she smiles brightly. "TETSUO! I am pleased to see you are still alive. I feared the worst when you intercepted the blast."

"I'd like to apologize for that..." Replied Tetsuo with evident guilt, eyes lowered. "If I hadn't done that, you probably wouldn't be here..."

Teacher's Pet smiles. "Well, I am loathe to admit it, but your words are true. However, the meaning is different." She chuckles. "It is true that I would not be in 'here' as in the medical room, but I would also not be 'here' as in the mortal plane. Fire-based powers and a blimp don't mix, and if I had been careless, a missed shot could have been dangerous. You may have saved my life."

"I guess..." Tetsuo replied noncommitally (is that even a word? O.o; ), still averting her gaze. "I just wanted the fighting to stop..."

Teacher's Pet looks surprised at that. "But, sometimes it is necessary to fight. If you believe in a cause, you have to fight to defend it. Even if you are wrong, it's better than doing nothing. If you do nothing, it can often create the worst case scenario."

Tetsuo didn't know how to respond, so she didn't. What she based her perceptions on were probably questionable, but they seemed right to her. Not in a "good" versus "bad" sort of way, but do as you "feel", not how you "think." And all that corny stuff.

And so, the blimp continued towards the nuclear power plant, eventually arriving over it, at enough of a height that everyone would be able to port down, as soon as Scientia finished some last minute preparations.

Tetsuo stuck with Rose in the meantime, since she was to go down to the same position with her.

After the event at the military base and power plant, the Boss and Tetsuo found Scientia at the Nekojin's headquarters...

Scientia continues working on the gun. "Most jails don't have police officers who can bring Magic the Gathering cards to life, and send you into an illusion of dying thousands of times..."

"So... You're saying that this jail has someone that can...?" Tetsuo inquired, a bit of skepticism showing on her face.

(Actually, that's an extremely good idea.)

The Boss nods. "Yeah. Scientia has just heard my stories, but back when I was a member of S.U.C.K. We tried to break into the jail and free all the prisoners, to create a distraction while we did our real plan. I never did learn what the real plan WAS, though. We got in, and didn't take into account that one of the police officers could deflect bullets. And lasers. When we got arrested, one of them challeneged us to a friendly game of Magic the Gathering. We all had our decks with us, so it seemed like an alternative to whatever else they had planned...Our defeat was total, and she made us suffer horrific penalties unless we told her everything we knew..."
