"Oh hello Alexis, how are you?" Kenji said as he was still blushing from the uniform talk.

Alexis nodded as she saw the afformentioned fox tail..."Oh, a red fox...I thought you would have gotten a bird's dna...since your mom had the Blue Lorikeet animal."

Kikki wonders where Bridget was and went to dial her number..

Cassia saw her opening to escape. "Dunno why I'm a fox and she's a bird. Life is weird sometimes. But you two keep each other busy! I gotta run and get out of this rag so we can get going. I'll only be a few minutes, so don't worry, I'm fast...." She took off the transformation medallion and tore off up the stairs before anyone could stop her, full skirt flouncing and bouncing all around her. Before she even got out of the room, the others could see her untying and yanking off the apron and dragging the ruffly hat from her head.
"Can't believe it- was gonna be early this morning- now lucky to make it on time-" She struggled to hastily pull the offending garment off; finally succeeding, she tossed it in a heap in the corner and scrambled into a pair of jeans and a red t-shirt. Making sure her hair was in a reasonable ponytail, she grabbed her bag and galloped down the stairs. Hopping on alternating feet to pull her sneakers on, she called out, "I'll be with you guys in a sec! I feel normal again!"

Alexis nods, "Oh, Hi Kenji...uhm...you going to school with me and Cassia...? I'm kinda new here and all...I'm staying with my mom." She hands Cassia a slip of paper with her address and phone number. "Cassia-chan...it's okay. No matter what you wear, you're still a good friend. Here's my number and address. Thanks for talking to me at the cafe, na no da!"

Cassia grinned again, though she was still a little red in the face. It might have been from all the effort of running around to finish getting ready, but well, she was slightly redder when glancing towards Kenji. Apparently the observation that her uniform looked cute was preying on her mind.... Either way, though, she took the paper and slipped it in her pocket. "Thanks. And it wasn't a problem. I'll talk to you anytime! I'll give you my number and stuff once we get to school. C'mon, you two- let's hit the road, if we wanna be on time."

"To answer Alexis's question yes I am. Now let's go." Kenji said as he left for said school.

Alexis got her school bag and lunch from her mom and then headed out the door with Cassia for her 1st official day at ther new school as a girl, (since the initial transformation anyway). Since "Alan" never existed, her mom was able to convince the school to enroll Alexis. "I'm coming, Cassia-chan, na no da!" She waved bye to her mom and the others, and went with Cassia to the school bus stop. "I think we have to take a bus to school, or we can walk to school. What do you want to do, Na no da?" She put her hand to her mouth..."Uhm, that Na no da thing used to be my mom's little saying..now I'm saying it...am I slowly replacing my mom on the Mew Mew team?" She thought....

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Oh, yeah, you're in my grade, aren't you? I don't think I've ever really talked to you before," she said to Kenji. "But at least we can both help Alexis here get settled in. Shouldn't be a problem, or at least, I don't think so. Hey, you in any clubs or anything?" Cassia slung her backpack over one shoulder as they walked along, going back to her usual cheerful manner now that she was in her comfortable clothes again. "Yeah, we take the bus," she said to Alexis. "The stop's right here, actually. It can get crowded, so it's good to get here early. Don't sit in the back- that's where the jerks go. They know better than to mess with me, but I don't want them thinking you're fair game."

Alexis noted not to sit in the area Cassia mentioned and stayed near Cassia. "Okay, I'll remember that. This is going to be so strange, going to a new school and all. I'm not sure if my mom ever went to school, as far as she knows. At least I have some new friends...na no da!"

"Yeah, though you probably would do better with the adjusting part, and as for clubs I really have none, never got interested in any." Kenji said.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Cassia good-naturedly cuffed the back of her head. "Aw, you'll be fine. You've sure been friendly with us, after all. You'll settle in in no time- wait and see. And yup, you've got all of us to hang out with while you get into the routine. And no clubs, Kenji? Sorry to hear that. I'm in a couple, though mainly they're sports stuff, and I guess you're not into athletic stuff?..."

Alexis nodded and felt more at ease with these folks. She pretty much stayed near Cassia and made sure she listened to all the various tips on how to survive the various classes..."I wonder what classes I have to take...uhm, do we have to get our schedules in the school office? Mom told me my new schedule would be in the office and pick up my books."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Yeah, when you first start you get sort of automatically assigned. Then you can shift classes around as you need to. It's the basic English, math, history, science stuff- you know the deal. You'll probably need to take some tests and stuff, to see what level classes you should be in. You get your books in class itself, 'cause they belong to the school. We probably won't be in any regular classes together, 'cause we're in different grades, but maybe we'll be in the same gym class or something."

Alexis sweatdropped at the word Gym.."Uhm, Gym class...oh, ok..I'm sure I can survive that...Unless my monkey traits come out during Dodgeball or something....
