Not sure of the exact name for it... There's Saga frontier 1 & 2, Romancing saga, and other ones... Maybe just saga series? O.o

I think I remember now. A :?:

appears in Romancing Saga when you learn a technique but I'm pretty sure it happens when you use one of your techs, not when the enemy attacks. Then again, I never really understood that game's battle system.
I might use this idea though. From now one when an enemy uses gas I'll summon Lioconvoy. Not sure if it will work though.

Usually you have to summon something to protect you, if it's not something that you use as a counter. Kind of like Golem, from one or more of Final Fantasy games... You summon it, then it appears to block a future attack. Or something. You might want to ask Lio, though, since he may have a day job and all. ;p

Well, since the previous attack failed, is anybody going to try attacking again? Defeating a newcomer who doesn't even fight back can't be difficult.
