"Well, maybe because I am! Kyte, it's nice to see you again! I've missed you!" wailed Kate, who then proceeded to grab Kyte in a vice-like grip and swing him around with super-human strength. Her antics were beginning to gather some attention from the surrounding students....

[Tala]

Ka...Kate? How in the world? How do you even have a body?

[Mystic Mina]

"Hehe! You remember that Robo Guy? Well, thanks to his friends, I've been given a body of my own! No more having to share with gloomy ol' you!" cheered Kate, sticking her tongue out and making a gagging motion.

"Anyways, I'm on my own now! Daddy gave me a job with the police, so now I'm officially a Mew of the Law! And since they gave me a few.... Adjustments, if you know what I mean, I don't even need to be in a team at all! I can take care of everything by myself! ^_^"

[Tala]

Why did you join the police? We need you on the team. Besides you can't transform without my persona. Dad told me.

[Mystic Mina]

"Oh? I can't transform, eh? Well, how about you watch this!"

Kate jumped onto a nearby lunch table, knocking over a few student's trays in the process. She then pulled out a diamond-shaped device and thrusted it out in front of her.

"Mew Mew Powwweeeeerrrrr...... METAMORPHOSIS!"

Strings of blue energy streamed from the device and wrapped around her body, solidifying to form her original battle dress, though recolored to the police white, black, red, and blue.

"Officer Kate, reporting for duty! How'd you like that, Kyte?"

[Tala]

*Kyte looked in disbelief*

You cannot be Kate. Kate needs a male body to appear. You are not Kate. You are an imitator.

[Yamigalence]

"I know getting hit in the head with multiple dodgeballs has made me a bit loopy, but why do I see both kite and kate in two different bodies?" Cecillia asks confusedly "And why does kate look like a catgirl police officer?"

[Mystic Mina]

"Mmmmnnnnn, whatever you say Kyte! But you'd just be lyin' to yourself~!"

Kate turned her back on Kyte, flicked her cat-tail at his face, and promptly strutted out of the building through the parting sea of students who had seen the spectacle. All of them stood there dumbfounded for a second, before one of them, a small thin lad wearing an over-sized pair of glasses timidly stepped forward towards Kyte.

"You... You personally know one of the Mews?"

[Tala]

Tecknickly yes but that was not one of them. That was an imposter or she was brainwashed. Any way you look at it That is not the one I know.

[Mystic Mina]

"Brainwashed? What a load of crap!" shouted one of the jocks in the back, who was soon joined by many of the other popular kids in the school.

"Yeah, where did you get that one? From your little harem over there!?" jeered another jock, referring to the fact that Kyte's friends at the moment were mostly female. "Forget that guy! He's just a freak! That Mew probably forced him to stop stalking her or something!"

A chorus of laughs followed the insult, and the group quickly dispersed along with the other students. The air was suddenly alive with the sound of discussion.... Most likely about Kate.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"HAREM!" Cassia had been watching all this exchange with her mouth open in silence, but this got her flying to her feet. She all but tore across the cafeteria, slapped both hands on the table in front of the insulting jock in question, and leaned in to meet him eye-for-eye with a death glare. "Who are you calling a bloody harem?!"

[Mystic Mina]

"We are!" retorted the jock, standing up and matching Cassia's death glare with equal intensity. Several others stood behind him, asserting their strength of numbers.

"You'd better watch your back, fox-girl! Just because you're a poor excuse of a woman doesn't mean you're free to say what you want without a beating.... Or two."

He laughed loudly, as if to taunt the girl....

i said patting her head.

Himoko shrugs ignoring the girl and walks off to lunch. He is stopped by a teacher on his way to lunch and talks for a bit making him later to lunch he looks for a place to sit after getting his pizza seeing some kind of uproar he shrugs and walks around looking for a place to sit seeing a jock pick on some guy he heads near the jock. "Hey why not shut it pest? You had your fun now shut it."
