The Nuclear Base/Power Plant.

[Mitera Nikkou]

Tetsuo gave her a sympathetic look while she took a moment to think of how to respond. Knowing a little bit more about TP's motivation, she was able to come up with something.

"You should find another way to make more catgirls in the world, if you truly do not like humans. If you force them, and they don't like it, they are going to hate those responsible for it. Would you then hate catgirls after you are mistreated by so many of them? Will you then force catgirls to become something else and go through it again?" She took a slow, deep breath, then leveled her eyes with TP's. "I can't tell you what option to take, but there are better ways than this. Why do something that people could resent you for, when you could do a lot of good that people would be glad for? If people knew that they could become catgirls, and we set good examples, they could be inspired to want to become catgirls."

(OOC: I just want to make sure about something... Catnip and Neko are still outside (which entrance?), and Tetsuo, TP, Boss-lady, Genno, Gwen and Xiao are inside the power plant portion of the base?)

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Okay. Th-thanks." Elise winced as her leg gave another throb, and she tried to keep it from showing in her voice. "That would- help. A lot. G-good luck."

The Paramedic's voice comes in. "Okay. As soon as I get this guy back in, I'll see if I can pull some strings, get someone sent over. I might, at least, get another team to do it...Wow, great view from up here. Gotta concentrate on the landing...".

[Teddy]

Genno nods in agreement with Tet. "I know I couldn't stand being one... But I'm sure there's someone else that will. And someone else.. You don't have to fight. You don't have to hate us humans, just because of what's happened to YOU. We have hope, somewhere." He sighed, then looked past TP. "I'm not going to step down. I believe in THIS world. I believe that with a little luck, a little love, that we can make this world a bit better. Now, you can go on with your crazy scheme and force it.. Or you can help us try to keep this world better, and hope we can do better."

(Catnip and Neko are outside, in a yard over on the opposite side. The PCs are all in a building on one side where a bunch of disarmed nukes are kept. The Boss is in the power plant, where the Nuclear Fuel Rods are.)

Teacher's Pet laughs. "All you can do when you make a mistake, is to erase your work and start over, or try the problem again from a different angle. I guess I'm the one who failed this time." She closes her eyes, and leans against a wall. "If you want to face the boss, you better hurry to the main building. She's probably trying to bring Scientia in by now, or activate the fuel rods. Just be careful. She won't burn as easily as I do, her powers are greater than even my own. Her armor is the peak of technology. She, quite simply, cannot be defeated."

[Xiao]

Xiao and Elise glided into the area, and Xiao brought the staff down. He bent down and rested his weight by placing his hands and his knees, breathing deeply. After a second of rest he straightened and began to observe to figure out what was happening.

Tetsuo nodded before softly saying, "Thanks... You should probably take care of... Well..." She didn't feel comfortable mentioning TP's missing arm, and kind of thought that she probably didn't want to be reminded of it, but thught that she probably knew what she was referring to anyway.

After a second to steel herself, she turned on her heels and made her way to the main building as fast as she could manage, a determined look on her face. By now she was certain of what she should do.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise gingerly stepped off the staff, leaning on her umbrella so she didn't have to put full weight on her injured leg. It looked like fighting wasn't happening anymore. Were they... talking?... He looks- mostly okay- but still- It took a lot of self-control not to call out Genno's name at that point, but she didn't want to distract him, just in case it was some sort of ruse.... She was just limping, slowly, in that direction when Tetsuo took off running. "Hey! You! Where do you think you're going?" She didn't know what she would do if Tetsuo didn't stop, given that she had no real way of catching up, but she had to try to do something....

[Mitera Nikkou]

Feeling that she had no time to waste, she didn't stop or respond to Elise, determined to reach the "Boss" and try to stop what had been planned.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Oh, no- now what do I do- I can't move that fast- Still, Elise gritted her teeth and tried to quicken her pace. She refused to admit to herself that not only did it not work very well, but it made her leg start throbbing even more. She determinedly ignored the fact that it was starting to feel kind of wobbly from all the strain of movement.... "Stop! Stop before- before-" Before what? She knows I can't make good on any threats, right now! "Just stop!"

[Mitera Nikkou]

Tetsuo was soon out of sight and Elise's voice could barely be heard. She felt a little guilty about ignoring her, but she felt that time was of the essence.

(OOC: So... I guess I don't post again until I reach Bruce Springsteen... Or if something else happens...)

Genno beats Tetsuo to the punch, and left before she did. He missed Elise by just a few seconds... The black/blue flames had flickered back into existance, and he avoided getting close to the catgirl.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Wait- he was there just a second ago- now he's gone! I- what- well, at least if he can still move that fast, he must be holding up all right.... But now what am I going to do?" She looked forlornly in the direction the two had gone; the distance looked like it would take a lot longer, for her.... Grimly, she set her jaw and limped in that direction, still using her umbrella as an impromptu cane to keep some of the weight off her injured leg.

(OOC: Now I'm all weirded out and confused... If Genno left ahead of Tetsuo, she probably would have noticed (since the hallway (I believe that's where we're at) has limited space) him pass by and at least would have mentioned seeing him ahead of her. Heck, even Elise should have seen him, if she can see Tetsuo, and she was behind Genno. Yeah... Confused... Insertions of actions in the past like that don't work well. X_X)

(Yeah...I'll cover for him...He took a side door. The door marked 'In case of zombies'. He also passes by a big rocket pointed up. Accidentially locks door behind him, so nobody could just follow him.)
