(okay, I'll rework Trojin in once I get word from him. I realized Hyrule can't have just one human village, Kakariko, so I began coming up with new locations that easily fit the storyline, and will soon feel like parts of a more complete Hyrule. Also Guen, I'm making your character part of a large family. I was thinking about the Gerudo's and realized they must all be sisters, or related in some way since they only have one living male available and I can only assume having a child with a Hylian would be gainst their Gerudo-ness)

The past weeks have fully transformed the Gerudo Valley. Like the rest of Hyrule it is shaded by the constant looming clouds. The mists have made plantlife grow from the sands. And the places not covered in grass and shrubbery have become vast sand traps. Some of these sand traps streach so far that several places are inaccessable. The Desert Colossus, Farisham (a small Gerudo village), and Parami (a Hylian town at the borders of the Gerudo territory) are among these inaccessable locations.

Luckily, Domali, you are at the Gerudo Fortress. Vines have quickly grown and snaked along the walls of the canyon city. On these vines millions of buds have began growing. Some Gerudo's fear their blossoming will bring more evil to the Gerudo sands, but anyone can easily estimate they won't bloom for another couple weeks.

Damali, you are doing something you do daily when your younger sister, Kanami, rides up, "Hey! Mother Shiva has requested the two of us leave the Valley quickly!" She holds her hand out to you to help you onto the back of her horse. (The horses of the Gerudo Valley have not been effected by the evil chords)

Zelda startled out of her daze hearing the comotion behind her, the horse was well trained and didn't even take note of Shale. The princess looked over her shoulder, "Oh! My," she stopped her horse. "You..." she couldn't even speak her mind from how cluttered it was.

"I don't know... But you can take Thalest and ride to Alcali," Malon stopped infront of Epona's brother, one of the few horses on the ranch who was still lively. "See if you can get some supplies or healing postions or anything to help from Shindo. I think it's time he's paid us back." The great wizard Shindo, you've never met him personally Achoo, you only hear of the many favors Malon does for him.

"Feh!" Mido thwacks the Deku Scrub.

"Whaa~!" it withers in pain then dissapears into the ground.

"That was close!" Domi floats back to Remi hovering over his head.

King Zora pays no mind to Jaena's gesture, his concern is too easily seen on his face, "Jaena! Dear we must retrieve fresh fish for the people of the Domain. I first need you to stop at Kakariko Village and pull funds from the Zora royal account." Between his fishy fingers he held out a note for you to take, "Once you've pulled out the specified amount I need you to travel north..." King Zora sighed some before continueing.

Damali quickly finished the sword form she was practicing, grabbed her sister's hand, lanching herself to swing up onto the back of the horse. "Leave the valley?" she said. "Why? And where are we going?" A thread of excitement rang under her voice.

OOC: Actually, I read an article on the races in the game on Wikipedia, and it said that Gerudo women actually often liked Hylian men, and indicated that it might in fact be for breeding purposes. I can like you to the article, if you like. But I have no problems being part of a large family. :)

Jaena smiles to King Zora listening to him. "Uhh Sorry to interupt but why send me sir?" She looks down speaking softly. "I'm not a Zora and most might not take the fish if they knew I was bringing it."

Shale shouted over the noise of his rolling. "I am a royal guard, princess. I am here to protect you, since you have no other escort. Please, do not mind me."

Remi blinks as his sight returns. "Thanks for the help Mido. I’m gonna go see the Deku Tree now.â€

"I'll leave immediately, miss Malon." Achoo replied, knowing her request was of serious importance.

A few minutes later he had saddled Thalest and mounted him. He made to trot over to Malon and paused to make a comment before he left.

"I'll try to be back as soon as I can. I only hope this Shindo has what you need."

And with that said he encouraged Thalest into a gallop with his legs and began his ride to Alcali.

(Well I know they like Hylian men. That's obvious when you can freely move through the Gerudo Valley as older Link. But them being in intimate relationships with non-Gerudo men.. That's my speulation >.> Wich leads to the idea that somehow they're all related)

"Mother forsees something terrible happening," Kanami kicks the horse having it dash full speed to the gates of the Gerudo Valley.

"Despite everyone's words towards you, I know some have respect for you." King Zora shifted his large body, "Besides, the location you must travel to after receiving funds from Kakariko is no place for an ordinary Zora... And you my child are no ordinary Zora." He gave a half hearted "Heh-heh" only increasing your awareness of his last hope.

Shale, if you keep rolling you're liable to crash into the princess's horse since she stopped it. "My dear Goron... I've seen you around the castle," her features soften as she forgets her worries for a moment. "You're the one who keeps the gardens looking so beautiful," Zelda smiles and has her horse turn some to face you better.

"Yeah, sure. And don't do anything stupid near the Great Deku Tree... I'll never forgive him," Mido mumbles as he walks off in the opposite direction.

Domi floats ahead of you, "Hello Great Deku Tree!"

Achoo, you are swiftly carried out into the Hyrule Field. After getting some distance away from the ranch you see two guards in the distance, you can't be sure but it seems like they're headed twards Lon Lon Ranch. How important is getting to Alcali to you? Should you detour to meet the guards?

"Something terrible?... Is she sending us off to fix it, or does she think we're going to cause it?" Damali couldn't help the last comment, given some of the things she and her sister had pulled when they'd been growing up....

OOC: Here's the article I referenced: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerudo#Gerudo You may of course use it or not, as you feel inclined; you're the GM, after all. ;)

Remi approached the Deku Tree slowly. Even with all the time he spent living in the forest, he had rarely been around the forest spirit, much less have the intention of having a conversation with it. He had decided to let Domi do the talking to start off.

Jaena lowers her head and nods slowly. "I guess I'm not ike any other Zora. hehe." She smiles raising her head smiling at King Zora. "How far north do I need after traveling to Kakariko Village?"

Shale blushed at the comment. Well, as much as a Goron can blush anyway. Zelda spoke so softly. It's a wonder he heard her over the horse's hooves. Wait...Shale didn't hear horse hooves. And that meant...

Shale stretched out of his roll and flopped belly up into the dirt, sliding right up to the horse. He picked himself up and started scratching the back of his head.

"Sorry about that Princess. Hope I didn't get any dirt on you. But you don't need to thank me about your gardens. Only place decent rocks come up. I got tired of eating the cobblestones in the square. Oop! Shouldn't have said that!" Shale started scratching the back of his head even faster.

Kanami sighed, "I think she's trying to save us from it... I don't know for certain though." She slowed the horse before approaching the bridge to exit the valley.

"I'm fine Master Goron," Zelda smiled and giggled, "And don't worry your secret's safe with me. Hylian guards shouldn't have to settle for mediocer meals after all." The princess dismounted her horse and curtseyed, "I'm Princess Zelda. Nice to formally meet you Master Goron."

The Great Deku Tree is certainly older and wiser then when Link left. It was still nowhere near the size of the late Deku Tree, yet it was starting to resemble it's predecessor.

Behind the Great Deku Tree you can see the remains of the past Deku Tree. Not much was left, time took it's tole on the deceased tree and it was now barren and very fragile.

"It's great to see thee Domi, Remi." The Great Deku Tree spoke up, "These mists and melodies the winds carry... They are a problem for all the lands of Hyrule. Yet I know not how we could stop this."

Domi fluttered around, "Certainly Hyrule's past savior will come to aid us again!"

The Deku Tree was silent for a moment. "No... The Hero of Time has other quests in other lands. I fear he shall not return untill he finds what he is searching for."

"Past Hyrule's borders..." King Zora's expression changed. "There is a large ocean side city only a few miles north of Hyrule. It is called Bramble. They don't take kindly to anyone that isn't born in their city, but as a human you have more of a chance then anyone of the Domain. But since Hyrule's recent problems they have become a very strong and wealthy town now that Hyrule is in such need..."

"Alright I will leave right away. Was there anything else before I go?" Jaena smiles excited some by this journey.

Achoo figured that he wouldn't be wasting much time to ask the soldiers of their business, so he made a slight detour and made his way to them. If they tell him to hault and/or state his business, or if he gets close enough to stop and address them before that, he would say: "I was wondering if you were on your way to Lon Lon ranch."

"There has to be something that we can do." Remi said. "We can't just wait for whatever is doing this to mess the forest up even more."
