It really depends on the content of the show and how it is made. I think that in general live action suits more things than anime though, at least as long as the budget is there. Not that anime couldn't potentially be just as good for it, just the genre holds quite a few conventions that people expect making it more limited in what it can effectively deal with.

Well, I do enjoy live action, and anime as well, but I'm really a larger fan of western-style animation, with such shows as the just-finished Justice League cartoons, the various productions of Warner Bros. animation, and a number of other humorous or dramatic animated pieces. While these are my favourite, I'd have to say that the medium, if at all pleasing to the eye, is secondary to the content of the show.

Anime. I still prefer good content over the medium, but anime tends to have the kind of things that I'm interested in. Overall, though, both mediums don't really deliver much of anything good to me that often. I like more live-action movies because I have easier access to them, and over a large amount of years (for both watching and the make of the movies). But anime still has more interesting things, to me.

Live action can convey far more human emotion than anime can ever hope to (staying within the confines of the media, anyhow).

But that's just my opinion.

As a style I like Anime hands down, however if you look in a TG sense it could be interesting to see that process in live action...

Anime keeps me from thinking of reality, my arch nemisis. So why would I prefer something that could so easily remind me of reality?

But alas... I prefer manga over everything considered entertainment now days ^_^

Anime, after seeing the Live Action Sailor Moon and Princess Princess, I can't see Live Action one upping Anime on anything, then again, I'm going to try the Live Action Dective Conan.

Optimus Prime doesn't need flames, he's not a Turbo revin young punk like Tracks or Hotrod. Minor quibles aside, the best Transformers in my opinion were the Canadian computer animated ones, sure the stories had some holes, but the artwork was the best.

real action is good as a hobby, but anime is the best overall.
A man robs an Old Woman and runs off and get run over by a bus, meanwhile a small boy watchs from a distance and gets hit in the face by a football. The morals of this story inanimate objects are out to get you, and also don't tempt karma.
