Raleigh's Magic School

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Fair enough. We want to be able to see, after all. And what sort of practice areas do you mean? I guess a place like this would have some unusual options- what kind of things are you meaning to practice, if you don't mind my asking?"

[Raleigh]

"I understand from the brochure they have a few interesting options including one field that has no gravity and another with no friction. Apparently its for training people to be ready no matter where they are or the conditions they find themselves in but they let students use them for recreation during off hours. As you can probably tell, I am half-giant so I tend to like things where I can get in a good old fashioned throw down so long as there will be no hard feelings, so there is the wrestling mats as well."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Oh. Yes." Well, she's up front about it, so I don't need to worry so much about being tactful about not mentioning her background.... At least she's not sensitive or anything. "I... have to admit that wrestling has never been an idea that has intrigued me.... I'm- not what you would call a physical person, at least not confrontationally. Though I have to admit that a zero-gravity room sounds really interesting." Just got to make sure I wear pants when visiting that one.

[Tala]

*Kai sits on his bed*

So, why did you come to this school?
I am here to find the one who can beat me in a fair fight.

"So Ryong any places of interest in the school I should look for?" Ricky said.

[Raleigh]

"I am hear to learn more blood magics. Some of the knowledge is inherint to my peoples, but I need to know more. The school's head master is rumored to know several blood spells and rituals. Plus, it will prepare me for some things in my future, such as avoiding vampire hunters. Ahh I don't believe I told you my name, it's Gustav by the way."

Ryong chuckles. "Well the places we can generally access that might be worth checking out are the gardens, the gym, the dining room. Ahh yes the dining room, they have some of the best cooks I know of here. Also there is the magic test lab, where the older students practice making their own spells. That one is a blast, sometimes literally."

[Tala]

"Nice to meet you Gustav. I know alot about vamps. I wanted to become one a few years back, that was before the curse, but now I just want to get rid of this curse"

Kai lays down.

"Do you know any students in this school that could beet me?"

[Raleigh]

"Probably most anyone taught directly by either Lady Ebony or Raleigh. Kayote's students might also be able to pull something off depending upon how far along they are. I also understand that some of Wren's students have begun helping her work on some sort of magitech device that absorbs and neutralizes magical attacks, so they might be able to pose a problem if you rely on pure magic."

[Raleigh]

Racheal nods her head. "Yeah, the anti-grav is a major draw here for a lot of students for both fights and playing around. I think it also has some more mundane facitlies around here somewhere. I understand they have a tennis court and such for the students that want to stay in shape but not become front line brawlers. Hm.. I wonder if they have a training field for were creatures here, I didn't see that in the brochure."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Guess they didn't know if it'd be a draw or a drawback," Thora commented. "I mean, let's face it, a lot of parents'd get pretty freaked about a school openly advertising were-being facilities, you know? No matter whether you see them around these days or not. Maybe I'll try out some of the more casual stuff, wouldn't mind keep in shape...." Especially if there are going to be some jerks and bullies around. At least my roomie's nice, though.... "And even though I'm not into fighting, I must admit that playing with zero gravity does sound like fun. In pants, of course," she added with a bit of a smile, tugging on the hem of her skirt.

[Raleigh]

"Of course. Or shorts I suppose is a possibilty. Either way, it could be fun."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Well, anything other than a skirt, really. Even with the tights, it's still rather breezier than I'd like.... We'll have to check it out after we see the gardens. Speaking of which, isn't that them just up ahead?"

OOC: Hey, anyone other than me still wanting to play this thing?

((OOC: Looks like everyone else gave up on it Guen. Sorry about this, I did have some interesting things planned. This is why I test these things when I can, I am still trying to get a feel for the rp atmosphere around this place before I set up a universe.))

I might have to fight those who use the tech. They seem weak. My power will probily overload the tech.

[Raleigh]

"That is up to you kiddo. Just remember to challenge them in the arena at the gym. Its the only place fights like that are allowed."
