Garath's potion madness: Kristine's love Interest

Just planning to add a poll to an interesting topic: In Garath's Potion Madness, the RP in Free form rping, My character, loosely based on myself when I first attended college after high school IRL, was transformed into a brunette girl of 18 years of age. She at first wasn't sure of the reaction of the male characters, but first it was Clark, for he first discovered her passed out after the initial transformation, and then Rhiannon wanted to set her up with Steve, then he got turned into a Succubus. Now, Kazuki seems to be another choice, as Clark and Rhiannon have a new relationship. Which boy should Kristine be set up with in the rpg?

I will post potential male characters, and you can post who you want to see, and what reason (would have to possibly play in the rpg as a character to meet Kristine and the others to find out).

Hmmm. Good point. Even though she's physically a girl, inside the mind, she still has male memories. I used the plot device of the baseball bat she carries to show a back story. Beyond, if you want, say your character Jack coached Kris (when he was male) in high school in baseball and got him a scholarship to play for the college team. Well, fate and the pink potion changed all that, so if Jack is coaching the girl's softball team, Kristine would have a mentor, and possibly a way to work around the scholarship. Who says "Kris Rothman" cannot be a girl? PM me back with your thoughts.
If you know anyone else to play as Kristine's relatives (female cousin, etc), invite them in.

Hmmm...so what would happen if "Kristine" shows up for team practice in full uniform, hair tucked under her hat, and the others find out their new player has, well, curves?

Try it and see. I think she is perhaps a little over-eager to get a boyfriend- odd, for someone who still has male memories and what not. And I have a quandary of IC and OCC opinions and knowledge. IC, Rhiannon would obviously vote for Steve once he got changed back, given that well, he's one of her closest friends, and therefore she's biased. But OOC I know he's not likely to change back any time soon, or necessarily be changed into a "normal" guise. For that, I voted for Kazuki, reasoning that since he'll be upset over "Rhiannon-san's" new relationship, he and Kristine can perhaps comfort each other over missing out on their respective hopeful pairings.

I chalk it up to hormones, or something, IMHO. I'll take a while to get used to the new body, as Kristine was a bit uneasy with her visit to the girl's bathroom/shower (which I used a time passage plot to keep the "shower scene PG-13).

Kris, as a male, was pretty much like Clark when it came to girls; uneasy, as far as relationships went. Never went on any dates or anything, since sports, school, family, etc. Now changed into a very attractive brunette, Kristine is still uneasy about dating as a girl, and she tends to blush a bit around guys (Kazuki, Steve, Clark). It's just a normal reaction.
I assume her old male memories will be replaced by the new memories as she continues her way through college. Meeting new friends, experiencing many firsts, and eventually, and possibly ending up with someone who appreciates her for who she is as a person, and not who she was in a previous life before the encounter with the potions.

Well, I'm female, and I don't get irresistible hormonal urges to go out with any guy who's nice to me. Granted, I didn't get the hormones in an unexpected rush all at once; they did kind of evolve, in my case. I'm not a big blusher, either, at least not most of the time. But then, gaming groups I'm in have a lot of guys, so perhaps that's why. I do hope your little lady can find some happiness in her new skin.

She just turned down Allen's offer to return to male-ness for the time being. Oh, and will avoid Mr. Lenrez. He still would be under the assumption she's on drugs.

My suggestion for Kris is that deep down 'he' always wanted to be a girl. Now that the pink potion has actually made him one, the personality and feelings he kept buried inside himself, are now rushing to the surface.

She could realize at some point in the RP that the female form she has now is in fact how she's always wanted to be. Making her realize why she has been so calm about it, and why she doesn't feel like becomming a guy again.

As for which guy you'd like to be with. I think it'd be funny if it was Kazuki, but for ANYONE you'd have to PM them and talk it out with THEM.

I like how you think, Garath. That's exactly what's happening with "Kristine" now. That's also what I'm leaning towards with Kristine right now with the pink potion and stuff.

Yeah, I'd say that, overall. We've got a good group together for this set-up. I do concur that instead of latching onto someone and trying to establish a relationship with them, wait and see what might develop naturally. Sometimes you'll be surprised. I know my other current roleplay relationship (the Megatropolis one) literally came out of the blue. Our characters were talking, and suddenly things shifted, and next thing we knew, they were a couple. Surprised the heck out of both of us, let me tell you, as neither one of us was in any way trying to establish a relationship with the other one's character. It's been a lot of fun, though.
