"'Her' new temporary code name is Mai. She picked it herself. Says it'll take a week or so for this form to run its course." Think I'll keep the liking it bit to myself just now. Don't want to blab too much.

Kate:Last time this happened, Mia didn't even want to change back 'till s/he has yelled at, and that took about a month. She kept taking copies of my DNA.

The little girl fumed, but kept her energetic self under control. True, she had enjoyed being Kate when the opportunity presented itself, but it wasn't to get out of work or anything like that. It was.... An escape, like his suit. It allowed him to ditch his normally weak and submissive personality and just let loose. It was just a coincidence that it was achieved by becoming female.... Right?

Kate:I promise not tell anyone about. Kyte knows because neather of us have secrets from each other because we can read the other's mind. I doubt that Kyte will keep his mouth shut though.

"Well, you tell him that if he blabs, I'll knock him flat," Cassia said. "People deserve to keep at least some of their secrets, you know." She hadn't said anything, allowing this exchange to be between the two, but she felt the need to speak up at this point. Poor Mia looked so uncomfortable. And friends helped friends, even if you weren't really sure if they were your friend or not....
