[Tala]

*Kai stands stright and Ebony gets hit from behind knocking the wepion out of her hand. the kai shadow disappeared*

You are good. But can you beat me before the shadow crushes you?

*The shadows start to close at a stedy rate. about 10 feet a minute and the arena is about 100 feet across. so that means Ebony has 10 minutes to defeat me*

[Raleigh]

"Very well kid. Say good night Gracey." Suddenly Ebony blurs into motion hitting Kai several times with the handle of her blade so as to avoid cutting him to ribbons. Followed shortly by unleashing five concussive spells into his abdomen to double him over and then slams her foot into his head.

[Tala]

*Kai falls to the ground in pain*

How did you do that? My powers are the best that has ever been recorded.

[Raleigh]

"Obviously whoever did the recording didn't get out much. You were allowing yourself to be too tied to the flow of time and restricted by the laws of physics. Never mind your spells where at best a beginners by comparison on the multiversal scale. Now then, need any help recovering?"

[Tala]

I am not beaten yet. I still have the power to fight. As long as I have the power to fight. I must fight.

*Kai forced Ebony away from him and got into a fighting position*

Come on. Fight me without magic or weapons. Hand to hand.

[Raleigh]

"Your funeral kid." She suddenly lashes out with her fist and a shockwave of wind flows along the pucnh slamming into Kai's stomach. "Very well, no magic or weapons. Just the usual physical arts, you know, ki and chi and so on." She spins around and kicks out at Kai and a whirlwind flys toward him to snatch him up.

[Tala]

*Kai takes the blow from the wind punch and uses the momentum to dodge the wirlwind and to come down on Ebony*

I cannot lose.

[Raleigh]

"Then you will at best draw kiddo." She is suddenly halfway across the arena floor from Kai even as he is still falling. "Heh, take this." Smashes her fist into the ground which results in a firewave sliding along it to hit right where Kai will be landing.

[Tala]

*Kai goes through the fire without a scrach*

I control fire. You expect me to get hurt by it?

*Kai jumps at Ebony*

[Raleigh]

"Not really." Watches as Kai jumps at her and waits.

[Tala]

*Kai hits ebony with punches flying at about 100 per minute and when he stoped he jumped back and bent down to catch he breath*

[Raleigh]

Kai finds that at every punch it seemes as if Ebony broke apart into 5 copies of herself around the blow before reforming into one at each. "Still too slow kiddo. It should be more like this." Blurs out of sight and then Kai suddenly is impacted with about 20 kicks to the back before she reappears in front of him to unleash one punch with enough power to put a dent in steel.

(OOC: HELLO? what should i do now...? you two seem to be killing each other...)

[Tala]

*Kai falls over*

I...cannot...lose. If...I...lose...I...lose...my...powers.

[Raleigh]

((OOC: Josh, just decide where you want to go. I am hoping for all the people to eventually wind up investigating the gardens, its why they have been pointed out to just about everyone. Major overall story bit for this rp is to find out what is up with the tree out there.))

Ebony looks down at Kai. "Not a bad little spar, kid. Don't consider this a loss, it was never a real fight to begin with. Now get up and get cleaned off. Try milling in with the other students or something."
