Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Lyra. Crud, if she sees me now, then I am soo busted.

"Um, I just remembered. I have to be somewhere not here. Don't worry though." I said as I rushed filled out the paper work. "Here is all you need to get you hub I.D. Have a good day"

I then ran off into the crowd. When I thought I was hidden enough, I turned off my shapeshift belt.

"Dude, that was so much fun. This party was a blast!"

"Jarred? Therre you are!" Lyra hustled over. "What on earth are you doing in this part of the building? And I specifically asked you to wait for me to get home before leaving!" Her expression softened the words a little, though; she really was happy to see him. Then she spotted the belt.... Is that... one of his gadgets?... "Jarred...." Her voice took on a warning note. "Have you been getting up to stuff again?..."

((Where Shannon and Brandt enter the sewers.)) The path that Shannon and Brandt take leads down into a rather open part of the sewer, they can see where another ladder leads down into the same room as they themselves have arrived in. Kay and Ross are still slightly above this section, all they would need to do is take the ladder to reach the same area.

Ebony nods her head. "Theoretically anyway, yes. We have at least some twenty stable 'gates' as we term them. We also at times have random gates appear to realities that we haven't had much of a chance to chart or study, which is probably how you got here. Problem with those more random ones are that we have a hard time getting back to those worlds if we wish. We also have a few devices that make temporary gates to realities as we wish but those can have problems. Why do you ask?"

I imagine myself in an anime world, me a handsome guy surrounded by all the anime women i could ever dream of.

"Oh you know what this 'gadget' is sis. It's my morph belt. I only go on about it everyday. So do you really have to ask if I have been getting into stuff?" I said, walking with my sister to who knows where. We are just taking a family walk.

I don't know our mom and dad, and she doesn't say much about them either.

After all, it had just been the two of them for so many years.... Lyra had all but half-raised her little brother. It was no wonder she kept such a close eye on him.
