Kristy nods..."And, if memory serves correctly, Josh was working on a cure when the new strain of virus was unleashed." She looks to Gwen..."Gwen, the new strain of virus was released into the clouds, and it rained. The monster we were dealing with got a full exposure to the new virus. There are other animal-human hybrids who would use their unique...abilities for bad purposes. I've been tracking some of those bad mutates for a while."

I am not coming out. I have food to last me a month. I am in the school's pantry.

[Kris_Roth]

Kristy nods..."That's all and good, Madison, but what what if the custodial staff discover your presence in the pantry? What would they say about seeing a 12 year old catgirl raiding the food pantry?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

"But- but what good does hiding do you? You already got the virus. You're not going to get any worse if you come out. That's going to get really uncomfortable in there!" She glanced back at Kris. "In the rain?... I- did I run through the rain for a minute?... No, I don't think so. This is so crazy. We have to find out how this happened again."

[Tala]

Please don't make me come out. I know that if I do I will have to fight again. I don't like fighting.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Fight again? Who made you fight, and when? We won't make you do that!" Sure, she wasn't too good in a fight herself, but that's not what the little catgirl needed to hear right now.

[Kris_Roth]

Kristy nods..."Of course...we will get to the bottom of this. Just need to find May, Josh's female self. She turned into a furry during the encounter with the giant gorilla/raptor chimera. Any animal/human hybrids who are mixed with different animal parts are called Chimeras. They are named for the Greek monster of Myth, felled by the warrior Bellepheron and his winged horse, Pegasus."

How can I beleve you when you had me fight earlier? I just want to be alone.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"How did they get split in the first place? I wasn't there for the final conflict there. That's... strange. I must reemember to keep my umbrella close at hand, don't want a repeat of last time...."

[Kris_Roth]

Kristy nods..."Sometimes you have to fight...May was in danger. The Chimera gorilla monster wanted to kidnap May for information about the cure." She then approaches Madison. "You were very brave, Madison. You don't have to fight, if you don't want to. I'll fight for you, since I have some powers with this Kitsune ninja form." She gives Madison some chicken, and Gwen as well. "Here, I have food for you. I was on my way to deliver this food for Josh when the new virus started transforming people. I ended up as a Kitsune, as you can see." She sighs. "Josh and May are one in the same, Gwen. Josh found a cure for the 1st virus and released it into the air. Seems some evil scientist decided to take the virus to the next level. Switching genders was the 1st step....the second step was anthromorphosism, or furrification. We need a way to keep those who don't want to be changed safe."

Leave me alone. I need time to myself.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Sounds good. I definitely don't want to end up a guy. A furry guy, to boot." She took a bit of the chicken. "It really is good, Madison. I promise. I'm eating it right now. It's fresh, still hot. Better than pantry stuff."

Leave the food there and go away.
