Hm.. nope then, never went to that one. Ever heard of Dragon, Lone Wolf, Chaos Avatar, or possibly combinations there of? Those were some of my screen names back in the day.

Operation Urgent Fury was the first set of forums I ever posted on, but it was hardly my introduction to the internet.

I was perousing the internet long before I started posting on message boards (for instance, I only got involved with OUF because of the advent of CS, but I was playing half-life long before CS came out)

I first joined a 'community' on the internet via a email based RPG called Final Fantasy High School. Untill it went down.

Looking for a new place to hang, I stumbled upon my first message board.

It was called: "Battle High School"

For almost two years I hung out there, meeting many people and having a great time. Sadly it too one day died, and while there have been at least two attempts to revive it. They never lasted.

Since BHS had stopped, I once again moved on to find a new message board to call home.

I happened upon a web site with a small message board consisting of around seven people. Ten tops.

That board has changed a lot since then, and hey! What do you know? You're all reading this on it's latest incarnation! :P

I grew up on an anime-themed message board called the Anime Invasion. It never had more then 20 or so active members at one time, (usually a lot less) but we all loved it deeply, and I miss it even now...

Not really applicable, being an anti-nerd. Regardless, I frequent Facebook and LJ like electricity goes to your house, and am around here, Animesuki, and some other anime related forums I can't remember, but most are fairly recent.

I'm such a rookie when it comes to the internet, really.
