Welcome back, Falcon Knight! If it's alright to ask, though, why is a Falcon Knight higher ranked than a Pegasus Knight? I'd rather ride a pegasus than a falcon, myself.

In the Fire Emblem universe, a Falcoknight rides a Pegasus with a horn, which is the only real difference in appearance. That and a bigger spear. They probably coulda come up with a more fitting name...

So the "Falcon" in question is actually a pegasus with a horn.

That's because wyvern riders are so much stronger! AND cooler!
I mean, sure, if you need a mage taken down, then Falcoknights are the thing... but if you can't find a better way to kill a mage than that, you're not playing it right :p

Nuh-uh. My Falcoknights can take care of just about any enemy unit, not just mages. I know that you didn't say that in specific, but you might as well have. ;p They've got good speed, good magic defense, decent physical defense, decent critical, decent attack and good evasion. I only had to worry about their safety in regard to very specific bosses. Then again, most units can be reliable in most situations if you manage to max out most of their stats.

The arrow bonus modifier don't do jack if arrows cause 0 damage!

It matters not! They can be felled! I took Vaida down with just Rebecca and Florina, so they're not invincible. If it were a maxed-out Falcoknight versus a maxed out Wyvern lord, the winner would more than likely be determined based on what they are equipped with rather than their personal stats.

I know, since this is Florina's thread, we'll have her decide which is better. ;p (Which is funny since they're not all that different, functionally.)

WRONG!
A wyvern lord has superior defense and strength than a falcoknight of the same level, and should have the skill to hit most of the time. And since any battle between them is invariably a physical scrap...
Okay, sure, if the wyvern lord is using an iron sword vs. the falcoknight's killer lance, it'll probably edge out the win. But on equal terms, the wyvern will win every time!

Ah, but you forget; Speed is just as important as strength, and I bet (not entirely sure, so correct me if I'm wrong) that Pegasi are much faster than Wyverns. so there!

They are faster.
Not so fast that the wyvern lords can't hit them most of the time, however. After that, the differences in strength and defense puts the wyvern lords cleanly on top.
