Do you need to make your own commercial or just figure out how to work a VCR?

It's done already, but the former's the right one.

Now, I've got Physics done, but I still have everything else, pretty much. <.< And I'm TIREEED!

Oy, I need the money, and the job isn't so bad either. Otherwise, I wouldn't be working the job. I'm not masochistic, after all. XD

Its like my Uncle says, "Money will not make you happy. Not having money however, will make you miserable. When someone asks you how you're doing and you reply mostly without, you are not a happy camper."

Right now we are working on the musical "You a good man Charlle Brown" (I play percussion)

hmm.. Test and the same stuff.

Durring the summer I'll be working at music camp and being a summber band teacher.

As it stands I can only take one or two class at a time.

*sigh*

I'm never going to get out of here. ;_;
Some stuff happen, and there was cow bell! And all was good.

The end is tomorrow. My final exam and possibly the biggest challenge in my school career. Whoohoo... Oh joy... I'm scared.

A long presentation in front of examiners... Who the hell thought this up. The stress will kill me.

Hmm...

I wonder if I'll blush from embarassment  or become pale from fear  ? Maybe both at the same time?
You know the situation where a character has a little angel and devil symbolising his/her good and bad sides pop up near their head? Well, I have that too.

Except the good side is a timid schoolgirl.

And the bad side is a maniacal dark elf.

No response to my woes? Doesn't anybody care? I know I'm a self-centered brat, but I'm seriously afraid here. I have less and less time until the inevitable comes.

*Hands Vahn a big plushie turtle for no particular reason*

Cheer up!

Do you know the material? If so you're covered. If you don't, no amount of fretting will help you now.

I can give you some quick coaching in public speaking if you want.

*hugs the plushie*

Thanks. A few tips on public speaking might help. Might learn something I don't know.

The thing is that I have to say a 4 page long presentation within 15 minutes. My biggest problem right now is that I have to learn my work so well that I won't need time to think too much about it. That's the only way I'll be able to make it in time. I expect stress to make my mind go blank and bring my plans to naught.

First: Breath control. Don't reach for words. You already know how to speak so you can finish a thought in one breath or less. Don't worry about cramming them in.

Second: Eye Contact. Meet the eyes of your audience from time to time. They are there to listen to you. You have the power. You're the one in center stage. You don't need to glare at them, but as you're finishing up a sentance and going to take a breath to start another, look up and make contact.

Third: Relax. You know your work. You know your material. You've been speaking to people all your life. This isn't much different.

Fourth: If you make a flub: If its a small mistake ignore it and keep going. If its a big mistake, Pause. Correct yourself. Then keep going. Don't dwell on it. You'll get a rhythm going and a mistake can interrupt the rhythm. While you pause and correct you can pick the rythm back up and keep on rolling.

I have a fifth comment which will probably be irrelevant by the time Vahn sees it, but this goes to all you other silly peoples should you be giving an oral presentation or some-such! :O

Get a good night's rest BEFORE the big presentation/exam/whatever.

Prepare all you want, but generally* you work better if you've slept well and had some R&R for your brain to reboot and internalize everything you've so diligently tried to prepare for. If nothing else, you'll walk in without feeling miserable, which is a plus if you at least start off the presentation feeling good about yourself.

*If someone brings up a story about pulling an all nighter, and getting an A+ on something, this does not apply to you. You are obviously a superfreak. Sing the song and do a dance. :P

IT'S OVER!

It seems that 5 hours of sleep was enough since I got 17 out of 20 points. That's a good result and I'm satisfied with it. Big thanks for the support, guys.

I am free now. FREEEEEEEEEEE! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! :D
