Apartment Complex

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise threw her arms around his neck, kissing him back eagerly, happily. He loves me! He loves me! She knew she was probably awkward, still, her inexperience likely showing. But right now she didn't care. All she cared about was that Genno loved her. And she was going to show him her love as best she could, and hope the feeling and enthusiasm would make up for any lack of practice she may have. She knew the exhaustion from today would crash into her any moment now. But at this moment, she was riding on pure, heady exhilaration.

[Teddy]

Genno picked Elise up for a brief moment, so that she was on the same level as he was. He set her back down, breaking away gently. The grin seems to have got much bigger and the air around him felt charged with happiness. "Some put their last bits of energy into a final blow... I put it into kissing the most wonderful girl in the world... Can ya make it to the apartment, or do I get to carry you?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise ducked her head, giggling. "I like this use of the last energy much better, I confess...." she said. "And... well... we're almost home. I... think I can make it. Though if you really do want to do the hero thing, I can't say I'd object too much...." She giggled more, an ecstatic, giddy sound. She was radiating pure, unadulturated joy.

[Teddy]

He laughed, finally free of the worries that had plagued these last few days. "If you won't mind.." Genno dips her over and carfully picks her up, holding Elise in the typical 'Damsel in distress' form.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise laughed too, a free, open sound of delight. Her arms wound around his neck. She had to admit, it was, well, kind of exciting, to be held like this, knowing he was strong enough to carry her.... "I... can't say I mind," she said, voice a little breathless.

[Teddy]

"Good." He stepped through the doors, and started up the stairs for their room.

The woman downstairs watched them go, sighing. "Another one.. This city if full of 'love'." She made a retching noise, then turned back to doing whatever she was doing.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise didn't notice the woman's reaction. To put it bluntly, she had stars in her eyes. She could have pointed out to Genno that there was an elevator he could also use, but well, that would mean he'd hold on to her for less time.... So she kept quiet, and just held on to him, enjoying this feeling of cherished weightlessness. Then a thought occurred to her. "Wait- one of us is going to have to get out the key and open the door...."

[Teddy]

"Oh.. The key.. Right... Where's yours?" Genno had that twinkle in his eye, like he did at the coffee house..

[Mistress Guendolen]

"In my handbag. Wait a minute...." She unhooked one of her arms from around his neck, rummaging awkwardly one-handed to find the key. "Ah, here it is," she said, holding it up. He had that look, the same mischevious twinkle he'd had when they'd first met. When he'd, well, first started flirting with her. It made her grin. He was planning something, she was sure. Would it make her blush? Quite possibly. But would she like it? More likely than not, yes.

[Teddy]

"Ah.. Really now?" Genno leaned over and pulled her key out of her hand with his teeth. "Now, let's see if I can still do this..." Genno continued until they were at the door, still grinning.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise laughed just a bit. "What on earth are you doing, silly?" she said, playfully ruffling his hair as she giggled. "I could unlock it if you just stooped down a bit.... Still, this's something I gotta see!" She continued to hang on to him, giggling more.

[Teddy]

Obviously, the thought of Elise unlocking the door had never crossed his mind.. He looked slightly embarrassed at his blatent showing off, but he still did it. Genno bent backwards, unlocking the door with the key, using only his mouth. He gently butted the door open with his head and walked in sideways, still carrying his girlfriend.

[Mistress Guendolen]

A little squeal slipped out as he bent over; it was weird to suddenly be looking down like that, not to mention that well, she was pretty much half-lying across him.... She held on to his neck a little tighter as he uprighted them both, blushing just a touch. "Well, if you wanted to impress me, you succeeded!" she said, sounding a touch breathless again, and amused as well, as he took her into the apartment. "That was... quite a feat of balance and flexibility!"

OOC: I'm sorry to report that as of tomorrow, (well, it's probably today for when you get this), I won't be here for a few days. Going on a trip. I won't be back until Monday night sometime. Sorry to leave you in the lurch like this. I was hoping to get to a natural pausing point in this before departure came around, but it didn't work out that way.... Sorry. Please sit tight until I get back, okay? I'll try to make it up when I return....

[Teddy]

"Heh.. Thanks. Though.. I'm a bit tired." Genno sat on the couch and almost immediately passed out, still holding onto Elise.

(Oh, don't worry about it. At least you TELL everyone before you disappear for a few days. : P)

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise just blinked for a moment. Given that he hadn't put her down before sitting down, that meant that she was now sitting in his lap.... Given the fact that he'd just gone to sleep, she could probably get up with comparative ease. But... this was a novel experience. She shifted around a little, expression thoughtful. This was... actually a lot more comfortable than she would have thought. She couldn't help but blush just a touch as she did so, but she settled herself in, cuddling him just a bit. Stay for a little while, at least, and when I know he's out could I could always get up.... But for now she'd sit with him. She dropped a soft, light kiss on his forehead, barely a brush of contact, and just sat, closing her own eyes. This was awfully nice....
