Musa's House

[scarplo]

The vagabond took in the scene as Yuki spoke, his face a mask of impartiality. Then he looked at the surgeon.

It was a look that could freeze a sun. His hands were tightly clenched, with a faint mirage haze around them.

"When you finish, you will tell me what you've done, or I will find a way to bring this place crashing down on your head."

[Musashi]

Yuki smirked. "Aw. Worried about your future husband? That's so cute."

He dropped the arm into a metal tray and took another from a glowing jar. It looked identical. He picked up what appeared to be a needle and some thread with a rainbowy shimmer to it, and began sewing the new arm onto Musa.

"Anyway, I'm just upgrading him. He'll feel and function even better after this. So you don't have to worry your cute vagabond-y head, he's going to be fine. But he'll be so HAPPY to know you were worried about him~"

Scarplo turned back to Keio's room. "When you're done."

And after walking back into the poor child's room with a black expression on his face, the vagabond looked down at Keio.

"Did you know that devinity being love is a new concept?"

[Musashi]

Keio stared up at Scarp, tilted his adorable lil' bishi head, and obviously did not understand at all. "Um... n-no? ...D-do you want to sit?" He folded his hands in front of himself and looked quite nervous indeedly.

"No."

The room actually seemed a bit darker at that word.

"It's a very new idea, created only after a carpenter was strung up. Before that, the Gods were anything but compassionate."

Scarplo knelt down and looked through Keio. "They took human sacrifices. Children were thrown into the red hot arms of bronze idols. The sweet scent of their flesh melting from their bones and the symphony of their screams pleased these powers, giving the sacrifices' families a livable life."

A scarred hand gripped Keio's shoulder as the shadows grew deeper. "In some stories, the very creation of the world called for the slaughter of innocents. The Greecian Gods slaying the Titans, the Hindu shattering of the great Atman..."

[Musashi]

Keio cowered before Scarp and looked as though he were trying to shrink into himself, trying to escape the shadows. Tears welled up in his eyes. "Why are you saying these things...?"

But the little bishlet was not entirely defeated yet. Shakily, he placed a hand over the one on his shoulder, and his own hand began to glow light blue. He began to try to send this energy into Scarp. No, not "I am going to chang3z j00000!!11!1" energy, but just simple healing magic.

The vagabond blinked, eyes focusing on Keio as the shadows faded.

"... thinking out loud."

He stepped away from Keio and looked at the closed door. "... Keio, how did you get here?"

[Musashi]

Keio gave a little sigh of relief as the shadows faded. "Well, there's a few different ways, but I came from the Birth Room."

He glanced down at his still-glowing hand, then looked back up at Scarp. "...Want me to finish?"

[scarplo]

Scarplo eventually turned back to the glowy handed young boy. "I'm sorry... what?"

[Musashi]

"Do you want me to finish?" He gestured towards the chair. "Just have a seat. It'll only take a few minutes, and it doesn't hurt. I can heal you and you'll feel much better. I'm still learning, but I should be able to help some."

The shadows returned as Scarplo gave Keio a look usually reserved for a charging angel wreathed in rightous wrath. Particularly with his eyes flaring up and writhing in their sockets. The first word exploded from him"WHAT-" then he managed to choke the sound down "-needs healing?"

[Musashi]

Keio squeaked and stepped back, startled by all the yelling and the freaky eyeballs.

"W-well, just old wounds and things... you'd feel better, more rested.. um, m-maybe I could do something for your, um, eyes?"

At that moment, Yuki and Hitaru exited the SPECIAL BACK ROOM. There was no sign of any blood or anything.

"Hey, your boyfriend is all finished now~ Wanna go in and give him a kiss to wake him up?"

Scarplo drew a sharp breath in, and shook as he dragged its exit. The shadows faded as his breathing regulated.

"No. I don't need any healing."

And then he walked past Yuki and Hitaru to see what had been done to Musashi.

[Musashi]

As Scarp walked through the door, Yuki called after him, "Oh, and I dressed him up nice for you~"

And lo, in the room on the operation table, there was a Musa. He was curled up and sleeping peacefully, all in one piece and cleaned up, looking as if nothing had happened at all. Except his regular clothes and weapons were still piled up elsewhere. The catboy had been re-dressed in some kind of girl's off-the-shoulder shirt, and a frilly skirt, and two blue ribbons were tied in bows around his cat ears.

Musa stirred then, sat up yaaaaaawning a kitteny yawn, then blearily looked around the room.

"Scarpy...?" The kitty glanced down at himself, then back at Scarp. "...Why am I dressed like a trap...?"

scarplo smiled a bit dispite himself. "You have weird friends. How are you feeling?"
