[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise giggled. "That- that sounds nice-" For a moment, her brain did a bit of a flip at the "surprise in you in bed" statement. But hey, breakfast was perfectly innocent. This time wasn't an outrageous tease.... Right? "I'll show you how to do it no problem. Oh, yes, vanilla too, we need that...." She grabbed a small bottle as she passed the shelf after getting the sugar and cinnamon. "Okay, almost done here. Then grab you some clothes and head home."

After finishing his food and putting away the materials he used, Daniel sat reclined on his love seat rubbing sleep out of his eyes, not quiet having woken up yet. Not much to do yet, can probably wait a while before trying to find a magazine that pays for freelance pictures, might as well try and take another whack at that book... he thought before turning to browse through his bookshelf. His finger slowly moved past the various fake titles until he found what he was looking for, Gary Holstein's Opinion on Surpassing Theology. GHOST Daniel thought as he removed the book from the shelf, he had originally thought that such a blatant title would was stupid, and rather easy to find out, but most people don't look over words checking these things. Opening the book, the title page quickly flipped forward, showing the actual title of "Western Guide to Minor Necromancy". Daniel laid down on the sofa and began to try and read the cryptic book, he had looked through it several times in attempts to make some contact with a spirit, but has yet to fully understand the ritual's requirements, and wasn't one to deal with spirits not completely prepared.

[Teddy]

He hoped that he wouldn't break Elise with all the teasing.. But she was cute when she was angry.. Or confused. Hell, she was cute no matter what mood she was in, but it was so fun messing with her. "..'Aight. Will we have enough to pay for this?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise nodded. "Yes. I'll use my bank card. I must confess I haven't tapped much into my savings- you know, the interest from my trust. It'll be enough to keep us going until we both find ourselves some sort of jobs." She grabbed a jug of milk. "And that's the last of it. Shall we go get checked out? Then dig into those doughnuts while we grab you at least one change of clothes before heading home. Can't be out a long time, after all, due to all this cold stuff.... Gotta get get it in the fridge right away."

[Teddy]

"A few pairs of jeans, some shirts.. And I'll be fine. That shouldn't take too long, should it?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise shook her head as she started putting groceries on the conveyer belt at the check-out lane. "I shouldn't think so. Your tastes seem pretty simple and straightforward, after all. Now, if it were me it'd be another matter.... I freely admit I'm a bit of a 'clothes horse,' and I like nice stuff...."

[Teddy]

Genno helped put them on it, still in a bit of a shock. "It's allright Elise.. As long as it's comfortable on ya, I'm not going to complain. But, it doesn't hurt that you look good in them as well."

[Mistress Guendolen]

Her face went pink a bit, but she smiled shyly. "Thank you.... That means more to me, coming from you. I'm glad you approve...." She got out her wallet, producing the check card. Inside, her spirits were dancing a little jig. Because Genno thought she looked good....

OOC: I'll be back in a few minutes; just taking a quick shower.

Everything he said seemed to embaress her a little, made her turn a little bit of red. That was allright though.. "You don't need my approval though.."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"But I like having it. Your opinion is important to me. Don't get me wrong- I like my clothes, and I'd keep wearing them regardless. But knowing you like them makes me feel good." She smiled up at him, and for a brief moment had to supress the urge to give him a quick kiss. They were, after all, in a public place.... That sort of thing could wait until they got home.

[Teddy]

He chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. "Good ta hear that I make ya happy.."

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise laughed lightly. "Of course you do! I wouldn't be with you if you didn't...."
At that, the cashier coughed pointedly. "Your total, miss?"
"Oh! Yes, of course, so sorry!" Elise gave over her card, paying for their groceries. As they gathered up their bags to leave, she dimly heard the cashier mutter to herself. "And there goes yet another set of lovebirds...." She didn't pay attention, though. She was too busy extracting a doughnut- custard-filled with chocolate icing, of course- from their bag. "Mmm.... Oh, maybe it's being hungry, but that's so good...." She awkwardly offered the bag of doughnuts to Genno, while trying to carry bags of groceries out at the same time.

[Teddy]

"Another set? Huh... I wonder.." He grabbed his fair share of groceries, stringing them up and down his arms, keeping his hands free. He grabbed a plain donut and cautiously bit into it. He quickly finished it off. "Mmmmm... That's great!"

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise nodded. "It is, isn't it? I got plenty, so please, have another one!" She offered the sack up again, after having removed another- chocolate cake with glaze and sprinkles this time. "And what is it you wonder?..." she queried as they left the store. But then her head perked up. There was a shop window in the distance. "Ooo!" She darted off in that direction, or at least would have if running didn't bother her injured leg. "Lookie lookie lookie!" She bounced, eagerly if awkwardly, pointing to the window display featuring a men's t-shirt, bright red with a black dragon on the front. "That would be so perfect for you! If you like it I'm buying it for you- no questions asked!"

[Teddy]

Genno grabbed another one, exactly like Elise's. He trusted her tastes in all things sweet... In other foods, not so much. He stared at the shirt, then nodded. "If it won't cost too much, I'd love it." And maybe he should trust her judgement on clothes as well.
