Suddenly, a pop was heard in the bread-box. It opened itself to reveal a loaf of bread with eyes, cat ears, and a kitty mouth. "-taking the subway next time," it mumbled to itself. It looked around, eyes aglow and yelled "Cat party!" The neko loaf started hopping around joyously.

The bread skwees at Musa's enthusiasm, dancing along. It finally lands on his head, in its best attempt to huggle him. "Muffin hugs you!!!"

Muffin starts chanting the phrase over and over.

I didn't realize loaves of bread had pockets. But then again, they also don't typically have faces, kitty ears, or the capacity to talk, so I suppose in this case anything's possible.
