Shoujoland: New Ownership

Seeing the dressed Meroko, Naru scratched her chin in mock thought. "I think you'll have to beat the boys away with a stick." She smiled back. "I'm glad you're taking things so well. I would assume that you'd still be in shock right now."

[Mendi-chan]

"Shock?" Meroko said questioning. She should be in shock... yes probably. But from what? Oh, she had hit her head in the pool that's right. "I think I'll be alright, I didn't hit my head to hard," she answered happily.

[Shadowmaster]

"Then what do I do? I can't go home like this. My head hurts." She then sat down on the nearest bench.

"Well I can offer you three things, a job, a room, and a forget pill." Amy said.

Naru was genuinely puzzled. Had her mind just automatically adjusted? It's like she had taken one of Amy's pills already. Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, Naru forged ahead. "Glad to hear it, Mero-chan! Since you're feeling better, I hope you don't mind if I leave. I have to go to the bar and help a friend set things up for our band. Drop on by and check it out, if you like. We could always use a new band member."

[Sasha]

Kyuubi looks over the list and checks everything off as she finds them. " Lets see thats here and thats over there." she mumbles to herself.

[Mendi-chan]

"Mhm, I'll be sure to check out your band," Meroko said happily, then added, "Hey, would you mind if I tagged along. It'd give me a chance to see the band, and maybe I could even help out." The new girl was now more relaxed than she was before, but she was still new around here and wanted to get to know the people better.

"Sure thing! Just follow me. My friend, Kyu-chan, would love to meet you." Naru walked off to, and entered, the bar.

[Sasha]

Kyuubi stops working for a minute and heads off the stage to fix her self a drink. " all this work sure makes me thirsty she thinks.

[Mendi-chan]

Meroko nodded and followed Naru into the bar. "So what kind of band do you guys have?" she asked inquisitively.

Meroko's question made Naru stop and think for a moment. "You know, I don't really know! So far, it's just me on guitar, Kyu-chan on vocals, and probably Alex-chan on drums. We haven't really gotten together to iron things out yet." Naru sees Kyu-chan at the bar getting a drink. "Hey Kyu-chan! Fix me one of what you're having and meet the new girl!"

[Sasha]

She nods. " Ok no problem." she says using her tail to help grab the stuff she using to make a drink and slides her down on.

[Mendi-chan]

Meroko smiled as she called to the girl, "Hello Kyu-chan, I'm Meroko and it's a pleasure to meet you."

[Sasha]

She looks at Meroko. " Nice to meet you Meroko. I'm Kyuubi or Kyu-chan for short."

Naru grabbed the drink as it slid across the bar and took a sip. It was nice and fruity. "So how's the setup for the band? I have to admit, I don't have a guitar on me."
