Manpuncher gives her a reassuring smile as he pats one of her hands softly. Hey, come on now. If a guy like me says you're pretty then you must be. It's strange to think someone finds you attractive I know but surely you can take my word for it, right? He gives her a warm smile to try ease Guendolen up a bit before coughing at the dust.

[muffinstud]

"Oh, I saw you were wearing fake cat ears, so I thought you guys might appreciate the real thing. Granted, this is on a 24-hour trial basis, but most people I know go ahead and get a lifetime membership to the "cat-person club." You have to eat a raisin for that." Muffin just sat there, a smug look on his leavened face.

[Mistress Guendolen]

**nods, still coughing and sneezing** I- I guess you've got a point there- ACHOO!... Sorry. **eyes turn upward, and a hand pokes the top of her head** I... hey, these are real! **the ears twitch experimentally** What do you think?

[David]

Manpuncher coughs with enough force to fall off of the bench on his side. When he finally stops coughing, he notices that things seem louder than normal and his head feels odd. Ugh... What the hell was that?

[muffinstud]

Muffin grins. "Nothing, compared to the tail." He starts counting to himself. "8...7...6..."

[Mistress Guendolen]

**offers him a hand up** Are you okay? **ears twitch nervously- then sees his** Hey, you have cat ears! **squeal of delight** They- you look positively cute!... Wait a minute- tail? **turns, trying to look at her own backside and see if there's a tail poking out of it**

[David]

Manpuncher groans as he pulls himself up before looking at the kitty bread in question. Uh... what do you mean by that?

[muffinstud]

"...2...1. Just the fact that no decent cat person is without their tail, that's all."
The bread squints for a second, and a tail pops out the other end of the loaf. "Not even cat-bread!"

[Mistress Guendolen]

**blinks** That was very strange. Funny, your "tail" reminds me of a bit of skinny French bread, sort of....

The hell is that supposed to mean? Yeargh! Manpuncher feels a sharp pain in his backside as a new black tail grows out, leaving him as a black eared and tailed catboy. Owww...

[Mistress Guendolen]

**sits forward a bit** If it's any consolation, they look good on you.

[muffinstud]

"That's what that means," Muffin replies. "And I take that as a compliment, madamoiselle! French bread, like that baguette I'm going out with, have always been the upper crust of society."

[Mistress Guendolen]

If you don't mind my asking, just how are you going on a date with a breakfast pastry?

Probably the same reason I now have cat ears and a tail, Guen. And thanks for the compliment, I think you look pretty cute with them too but.... I don't see a tail, better brace yourself for that...

[muffinstud]

"The answer is I don't go out with pastries. I just don't swing that way. This savory baguette is a classy dinner roll. She's tough on the outside, but she's all fluff on the inside. She knows how to butter me up, that's for sure. Oh, and we're going to go mini-golfing on Thursday if you want to come along."
